We’re looking for people who know their craft, are curious about the business, and want a hand in improving how the exchange works.\nAbout the role\nWe’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to maintain and improve the infrastructure behind WOO X. You’ll work closely with engineers to keep production systems reliable, make deployments more predictable, and reduce manual work across our environments.\nThis is a hands-on individual contributor role covering cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and monitoring. You’ll have room to investigate recurring problems and make improvements that last beyond the next deployment.\nWhat you’ll do\nOperate and improve AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes environments, with attention to availability, capacity, performance, and cost.\nManage infrastructure through Terraform and keep environment changes consistent and traceable.\nMaintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, including deployment checks and rollback procedures.\nDevelop monitoring, logging, and alerting that help engineers identify problems and respond effectively.\nTroubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, investigate root causes, and follow through on fixes.\nAutomate recurring operational tasks and maintain clear documentation and runbooks.\nWhat you’ll bring\nExperience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role within crypto or Web3.\nHands-on experience running production workloads on AWS and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerised applications.\nPractical experience with Terraform, CI/CD systems, and monitoring and logging tools.\nStrong troubleshooting skills across Linux, networking, and distributed systems.\nScripting or programming skills for automation and operational tooling.\nThe ability to own work independently and communicate clearly in Mandarin with engineering colleagues.\nNice to have\nExperience at a centralised crypto exchange.\nExperience supporting trading systems or other services with demanding availability and latency requirements.\nWorking with us\nThis role is fully remote within Taiwan. You’ll work directly with engineers on the infrastructure they use to build and run the exchange.\nRegular on-call rotations or shift work are not a standard part of the role.
