wide range of EPC projects.\n Reporting to the Lead Electrical Engineer assigned by the Department Manager, the Electrical Designer will be responsible for electrical design drafting, modeling, and documentation support for projects from detailed engineering through construction and commissioning.\nPrepare electrical design drawings and models for complete electrical packages, including:Single line diagrams\nHazardous area classification drawings\nGrounding and lightning protection systems\nPower layout drawings\nCable schedules and cable drum schedules\nLighting and small power systems\nSchematics, wiring, and interconnection diagrams\nElectrical installation detailed drawings\nCable tray layouts and routings\nElectrical Equipment Layouts\nTelecommunication drawings\n\n3D Modelling: Cable route, power & earthing, lighting & small power, and telecommunication\nDesign Calculation which includes voltage drop, lighting illumination, and cable tray fill calculations\nPrepare material requisitions for electrical bulk materials, including technical bid evaluations\nReview vendor’s documentation\nPrepare Electrical Material Take-Offs (MTOs)\nPerform site checks, surveys, and installation verification\nAssist in preparation of subcontract requisition for electrical installation work\nAssist in preparation of electrical installation specifications and testing and commissioning procedures\nSupport construction supervision, testing, and commissioning activities\n Diploma in Electrical or equivalent with a min of 3 years of experience in Refinery Petrochemical / Chemical / Power / Pharmaceutical Plant Projects\nKnowledge international codes & standards\nAble to use electrical design / drafting software for 2D drawings and 3D modelling i.e. AutoCAD, PDS, E3D, PDMS, Smart Plant 3D\nKnowledge of engineering databases.\nHighly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive\nPossess good interpersonal skills with good written and spoken in English\nFlexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can-do attitude and a desire to win\nAbility to promote an open and informal communication environment that aims at growing
