Celebrating Long Service provides an opportunity for the business to demonstrate their appreciation of the hard work, dedication and many years’ services of our employees at 5-year service milestones \nJob Objectives:\nResponsible for the oversight and assurance of multi-discipline engineering scope of work on a portfolio of projects on an onshore Oil and Gas Field (Incl Brownfield).\nResponsible for ensuring that the engineering carried out is completed in line with clients’ requirements, Processes, Procedures and Specifications and in line with established International Engineering standards.\nResponsible for the technical excellence of the engineering portion of a project across all disciplines.\nResponsibilities:\nContinuous implementation and assurance of client specific procedures in the Engineering Design.\nMonitors compliance with standards and processes to assure efficient delivery.\nRoll out and Implementation of learning opportunities from across the business.\nDriving continual focus on process safety through the engineering team\nDriving elimination of technical incidents through robust controls, incident reviews and embedding lessons learned\nIdentifies and mitigates areas of risk and improvement opportunities\nIdentifies and pursues improvement opportunities\nPlan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities and operations of the client and contractors engineering team\nConsult and negotiate with client to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present engineering reports and findings\nAssign, co-ordinate and review the technical work of the department or project teams\nFocuses on managerial concerns of the project such as cost, completion date, and resource allocation. E.g. C Eng (UK), PE (USA & Canada), Eur Ing (Europe).\nPreferred: Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.\nExpected:\nEngineering degree or equivalent\nRequires 15+ years' experience in Oil & Gas industry (Process Engineering /Piping Engineering) with 5 years of experience in the EM position. \nMultidiscipline engineering team leadership with a strong personal ability in one relevant engineering discipline and a sound working knowledge of other relevant engineering disciplines.\nProven track record in onshore brownfield projects in the Middle East.\nAbility to engage, challenge and direct engineers of all disciplines in order to achieve overall project objectives. \nManage the technical assurance of all deliverables and ensure compliance with engineering standards, policies and procedures.\nRequires strong technical skill as relevant to the project scope, with particular emphasis on Brownfield Engineering Upgrades in an onshore Oil and Gas Field.\nIraq Project Experience is required\nBalance of technical and management experience at relevant level and position.\nBroad and extensive knowledge of engineering theories and techniques and a high level of skill in application of this knowledge in the management of the engineering function\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing people at all levels of the organization.\nAble to implement and embed standards and processes to effect delivery of engineering excellence.\nGood knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislation.\nCurrent knowledge of industry and technology development within area of expertise.\nExpert in Engineering excellence.\nAble to carry out audit and incident investigations\nGood Project management skills.\nSkilled in mediation and dispute resolution\nFinancial and commercial awareness.\nCandidates must be willing to travel to Basra,
