Ideally, the role will be seated in the Austin, Texas office, but we will consider qualified applicants in any US city where Wood has a presence.\n#LI-Hybrid\nThe Role\nThe Environmental Project Manager will monitor and collaborate with cross-functional teams in executing project work, permitting strategy, environmental assessments, and regulatory compliance. We are focused on developing strategic relationships with our clients, providing solutions that deliver efficiency, integrity and reliability.\nWhat we can offer\nMeaningful and interesting projects delivered to leaders of industry across Consulting Americas sector\nFlexible working arrangements that balance client, team and individual needs, offering onsite working\nCommitment to Diversity and Inclusion across our business with employee networks committed to giving all employees a voice\nCompetitive salary with regular salary reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market\nFlexible benefits package that can be adapted to suit your lifestyle \nCommitment to continued professional development through development plans tailored to individual needs and interests\nGlobal connections with leading industry experts around the world who are shaping the standards of our profession\n Key Responsibilities\nSupport and lead the delivery of project development scopes for clients in accordance with the pre-defined budgets, deadlines and quality requirements.\nPerform environmental field assessments including Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments, wetland delineations & biological studies. \nPrepare and/or coordinate comprehensive technical reports, construction monitoring plans, and review contributing sections of environmental compliance documentation for accuracy, context, and reasonableness.\nEnsure health, safety and environmental considerations are integral to the delivery of projects and project tasks. \nLead and coordinate environmental and entitlement permitting efforts with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies\nAttend and facilitate stakeholder meetings and public hearings.\nManage scopes using internal and / or subcontracted Wood discipline experts including but not limited to:Site survey and field work including topo, biological, environmental, etc.\nPreliminary project design / layouts including energy yield assessments and hybrid system sizing and design\nGeotechnical and hydrological investigation and modelling\nInterconnection application creation and process management\n\nManage projects in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams consisting of internal technical staff, as well as subcontractors, in all phases of the execution and delivery of environmental compliance and permitting requirements for renewable energy projects.\nRegularly and accurately reporting the status of projects to team management.\nContribute to business development activities and assist in securing new opportunities for the company. \nDisseminate knowledge and experiences to other team members and supporting the development of the team and team members.\n At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. degree an asset.\nAt least 5 years of experience supporting or managing environmental services projects.\nExperience with project management, client relationship management, and interaction with regulatory agencies preferred.\nBusiness development skills with a proven track record of developing project opportunities and maintaining successful client relationships; strong existing client relationships and professional contacts are highly desirable;\nEstablished experience coordinating with clients, regulatory permitting and resource agencies, and environmental technical staff required.\nWell-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to reach conclusions from testing results, data collation, and identify the most effective solutions to accomplish objectives of assigned projects.\nProven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by Wood’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.\nAbility to travel/perform field work at least one week per month minimum. \nAbility to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.\nDemonstrated knowledge of major federal statutes and implementing regulations, including NEPA, USACE, USFWS, etc.\nExcellent communication (written and spoken) in English, with the ability to engage and interface with various stakeholders\nMust have the ability to prepare high quality, concise documents to convey project progress, status and financial information to internal and external project stakeholders\nExcellent time management and organizational skills\nValid driving license for use with in USA\nMust be US Citizen or authorized to work lawfully in the US, without sponsorship from
