This is a contract role for 3 months with the possibility of extension to 12 months and will be based full time onsite. Please note this is not currently a live position.\nThe Role\nThis opportunity is ideally suited to an individual with a proven track record delivering electrical construction works on complex projects within heavy industry, petrochemical, oil & gas, power generation, energy, process, steel, chemical, or manufacturing environments.\nThe successful candidate will possess strong experience in construction execution, constructability, and site delivery, with the ability to coordinate activities across engineering, construction, commissioning, client and vendor teams. Provide detailed review and analysis of the Path of Construction, review the schedule sequencing and logic for the electrical scope of works across the entire project\nDevelop and lead constructability reviews, identifying execution risks and opportunities to improve project delivery\nReview engineering deliverables, drawings and specifications to ensure they are suitable for safe and efficient construction\nSupport development of construction methodologies, execution plans and work packages\nInterface with client, contractor and OEM vendor representatives on technical and construction-related issues\nSupport the development and monitoring of construction schedules in collaboration with planning and project controls teams\nOversight of the installation of electrical systems including power distribution, substations, switchgear, transformers, cable containment and associated equipment\nSupport development of construction, commissioning, and completion activities\nPromote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance\nProvide technical guidance and field support to construction teams during project execution where required\n Expected:\nSignificant experience delivering electrical construction projects within heavy industrial sectors such as petrochemical, refinery, chemical, oil & gas, power generation, steel, manufacturing, energy or process industries\nStrong understanding of electrical power distribution systems and industrial electrical installations\nDemonstrable experience in construction execution, field engineering, construction management or site-based project delivery roles\nFamiliar with PAUs / PARs including modular build strategies and methodologies \nProven ability to undertake constructability reviews and develop practical construction solutions\nFamiliarity with Primavera P6 planning and construction scheduling principles\nExperience working within brownfield and operational plant environments\nStrong client-facing skills with experience managing contractor and OEM vendor relationships\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and construction documentation\nExcellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills\nCommitment to safe delivery and operational excellence\nDesirable:\nHNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline\nExperience of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP)\nExperience with completions and turnover systems\nNEBOSH or other recognised HSE qualification\nCommissioning and start-up
