As the site’s Environmental Specialist and a core member of the HSE team, you will bring unquestioned environmental technical proficiency to the role and a demonstrable ability to drive continuous HSE improvement and risk reduction. You will develop a truly engaging HSE culture where everyone works together to reduce risks in a culture which allows people to be at their best. You will be experienced in leading successful HSE programmes.\nThe successful applicant will be responsible for overall management and improvement of Environmental Sustainability performance across the site, working with the Engineering team, the HSE Director and other team members as appropriate. This position will include leading and hosting audits in Environmental Compliance, Construction / Demolition and other HSE topics. relevant technical disciplines.\nNEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) Certificate, or an equivalent qualification in Construction Safety or Environmental Management.\nExperience working with multiple engineering disciplines (Maintenance, Utilities, Compliance, Reliability or Capital) within a manufacturing, process safety, or industrial environment.\nExperience managing and delivering technical or operational projects.\nExcellent communication across all levels of the organization.\nExperience working in the pharmaceutical industry or a regulated manufacturing environment.\nDangerous Goods: Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser Certificate;\nOperational knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes in the pharmaceutical or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or any other high hazard industry.\nChartered status in relevant Engineering, Scientific or Technical discipline.\nThe ability to coach/mentor/inspire site front line leaders, engineers, and technicians in order to ensure they can proactively identify risks and implement robust solutions is a core skill.\nExceptional influencing, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.\nSound working knowledge of the physical infrastructure of a Pharma site and
