Role Purpose

As part of the Global Colleague Experience function, the HR Specialist serves as the first point of contact for HR enquiries and transactional requests. This role is responsible for delivering efficient, accurate, and customer-focused HR operational support across the employee lifecycle.

The HR Specialist applies strong knowledge of HR processes and systems, works collaboratively with global HR colleagues, and contributes to providing consistent and positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle & Experience

  • Manage assigned pre-boarding activities to ensure a smooth and positive new-hire experience
  • Act as the first point of contact for new hire and employee HR enquiries
  • Support onboarding and employee lifecycle transactions (e.g., changes, exits)
  • Provide timely, accurate, and customer-focused support to employees and managers
  • Contribute to delivering a consistent and positive colleague experience across all touchpoints

HR Service Delivery & Case Management

  • Triage, resolve, and escalate requests through the HR Operations portal in line with SLAs
  • Manage and track requests to ensure timely resolution and clear communication
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and stakeholders to resolve more complex queries
  • Monitor personal performance against SLAs and KPIs

Data Management, Compliance & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and complete employee data in HR systems to support reporting and compliance
  • Support payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with Finance and HR stakeholders
  • Complete required compliance activities and audits in accordance with internal and regulatory standards

Ensure accuracy and integrity of documentation and employee records

Stakeholder Collaboration & Vendor Coordination

  • Partner with HR colleagues, managers, and external stakeholders to deliver effective HR services
  • Support coordination with external vendors (e.g., benefits providers, immigration counsel) as required
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across the organization

Continuous Improvement & Team Contribution

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve HR operational processes, tools, and documentation
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation to strengthen team capability
  • Support initiatives to enhance service delivery and colleague experience
  • Actively participate in team activities and continuous learning

About You

  • Experience in HR operations or transactional HR support
  • Experience using Workday (desirable) or similar HR systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive, confidential information
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within local and global HR teams
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative, resourcefulness, and sound judgment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple requests
  • High attention to detail, particularly when handling data and documentation
  • Interest in developing knowledge in specialized HR areas such as immigration and global mobility
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to query and analyze data (desirable)

We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.

While this is expected to be a full-time role, part-time or flexible working arrangements will be considered. Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.
