The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical permits under the Control of Work system, providing shift handovers and daily updates to the Production Supervisor, and working closely with the Production and Start-up teams to ensure all mechanical and rotating equipment remains safe, operational, and compliant with start-up procedures.\nOur Clients and Projects\nWood is growing its project delivery capability across a diverse portfolio of offshore and onshore energy assets, supporting key operators within the Oil & Gas sector. We are committed to continuous improvement, embracing new ways of working to deliver smarter, more sustainable solutions.\n Support offshore start-up and commissioning activities to ensure a safe and efficient transition into production\nSupport export pipeline commissioning and hydrocarbon transfer to onshore facilities\nProvide technical and operational support during commissioning, start-up, and early production phases\nExecute back gassing activities for the GPP export pipeline and support hydrocarbon export to onshore facilities\nManage the Control of Work (CoW) process for mechanical permits\nPrepare shift handovers and provide operational updates for daily reporting\nCoordinate with the Production Supervisor and Start-up Team to ensure mechanical and rotating equipment are operating safely and within specifications\nMonitor equipment performance and support troubleshooting to maintain operational reliability\nEnforce compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards\nConduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures\nLead toolbox talks and safety briefings\nAct as a first responder during emergencies and support incident response activities\nPromote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE performance\n What makes you remarkable?\nAt Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team.
