we are an organization actively committed to diversity and inclusion across our business\nGlobal connections; join experts around the world who are at the leading edge of our industry, shaping the standards of our profession\n The key objectives for this role are to:\nKey Accountabilities & Responsibilities\nSupervise and coordinate all insulation, painting, coating and passive fire protection activities within the assigned project area.\nEnsure execution of works in accordance with project specifications, approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and applicable international standards.\nMonitor contractor performance and verify that manpower, equipment and materials are adequate to meet project schedule requirements.\nEnsure proper surface preparation activities including blasting, cleaning, inspection and acceptance prior to coating application.\nSupervise the application of protective coatings, industrial painting systems and thermal/acoustic insulation works on piping, equipment, vessels and structural steel.\nMonitor Passive Fire Protection (PFP) installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and fire protection requirements.\nCoordinate inspections with Quality Control personnel and Client representatives, ensuring completion of all required quality documentation.\nVerify availability of insulation materials, coatings, consumables and tools to support uninterrupted site operations.\nReview daily progress, productivity and installation quantities, preparing reports and forecasts for construction management.\nIdentify and resolve field issues affecting progress, quality or safety of insulation and painting works.\nCoordinate interfaces with mechanical, piping, steel structure and commissioning teams to ensure smooth execution of activities.\nSupport mechanical completion, punch list clearance and handover activities.\nParticipate in construction planning meetings and contribute to work sequencing and prioritization.\nEnsure compliance with project cost and schedule objectives and assist in the management of variations and additional work scope.\nPromote continuous improvement and implementation of best practices in insulation and coating application.\nHSE Responsibilities\nEnsure all insulation and painting activities are performed in compliance with project HSE requirements, local regulations and company procedures.\nConduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and daily task risk assessments.\nEnsure proper handling, storage and use of paints, solvents, coatings and insulation materials.\nMonitor compliance with permit-to-work systems and confined space, working at height and hot work requirements where applicable.\nEnsure workers receive appropriate training, certifications and site-specific inductions.\nIdentify hazards, implement corrective actions and promote a strong safety culture across all work fronts.\nQuality Responsibilities\nEnsure compliance with project quality plans, specifications and approved procedures.\nMonitor coating inspection activities including:Surface preparation inspections\nEnvironmental condition monitoring\nDry Film Thickness (DFT) measurements\nHoliday testing\nAdhesion testing\nFinal acceptance inspections\n\nVerify insulation installation quality, weatherproofing systems and material traceability requirements.\nEnsure all quality records, inspection reports and turnover documentation are properly completed and maintained.\n At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. Previous experience in Romania is a plus. \nHave good experience in MS Office programs with complex Excel files\nHave very good communication and leadership skills\nbe used to work in an integrated team on complex projects\nDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.\nWorks with integrity and ethically.
