To provide corporate oversight in terms of technical quality of designs globally Provide technical leadership for a designated area of activity within the Process Group, this includes technology development.\nSkilled in managing project activities from conceptualization to execution including process circuit design, plant designing, equipment selection, process optimization, procurement, technical specifications, stage inspections, progress monitoring, site management, Supervision and erection ensuring compliance with the Quality, Time, and Cost Management.\nResponsibilities:\nYou will be responsible for:\nCompleting conceptual and/or detailed process engineering designs of new or revamp/additions to existing facilities.\nDeveloping design basis documents (process design criteria, mass, energy, and water balances etc.) and reports.\nDesign, supervise metallurgical test work programs and analysing results to develop/optimize flowsheet.\nConceptualizing flowsheet, Review of Metallurgical test work, design development, Process Simulations, Mass & Water balance, Utility Summary, PFD, equipment sizing calculation and selection i.e., Cyclone, Pumps, Dewatering screens, Tanks Valves, Crusher, feeders, sand washing plant and all other associated equipment like Columns Heat Exchangers, working on process design basis and criteria, basic & detail engineering deliverables, Vendor support etc.\nPerform Hydraulic Calculations for circuits (Slurry service and non-slurry service - Newtonian and Non-Newtonian fluid both)\nPlant auditing, debottlenecking, and optimization\nCarrying out calculations, design development and process simulations including providing specifications for process equipment and instrumentation.\nCreating, reviewing, and revising process deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, line lists, control philosophies, cause and effect matrix and data sheets.\nPerform Hydraulic Calculations for circuits (Slurry service and non-slurry service - Newtonian and Non-Newtonian fluid both)\nRelief Load Estimation by scenario analysis and Preparation of PSV datasheets, cause and effect diagram, process control narrative, Sequence Interlock Diagrams, Operating manual / procedure. Lead in HAZOP and other safety studies.\nPreparing Operating Cost estimate and aid in the development of Capital Cost estimate.\nInterfacing and coordination between other discipline engineers and project management staff.\nReviewing and applying relevant standards, regulations, codes, and guidelines applicable for task, identifying areas of deviation or concern.\nResponsible for working within and following company work procedures, process technical guidelines, quality assurance plans, safety regulations and specific customer/project procedures.\nAuthenticating any of the above process deliverables per the customer requirements.\nParticipation in HAZOP and/or HAZID studies.\nOperation/plant experience is considered an asset.\nDemonstrated ability to work in a team your role and inform your immediate line manager if you are unable to do so.\nParticipate and cooperate with internal/external audit process as required.\nParticipate, cooperate, and provide input in the Continuous Improvement Procedure and associated processes, especially regarding addressing Business System Improvement Requests (BSIR) generated because of Client Feedback or internal and external audits.\nParticipate in Quality initiatives and suggest modifications or improvements to current procedures if required.\n Educational Qualification\nA Bachelor or Masters degree in Metallurgy, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required.\nSenior level (12+ years) of relevant professional\nTechnical and Industry Experience:\nStrong computer skills, proficient with MS Office software.\nExperience in using METSIM, SysCAD, HSC, Aspen and other process simulation software is considered an asset.\nAbility to deliver best practice plant design, with emphasis on cost-effective engineering.\nAbility to recognize the commercial implications in study, project and proposal execution.\nAbility to manage risk during the design process consists of technical and commercial requirements of the study or project.\nAbility to interact with clients and other teams in a positive manner.\nAbility to manage activities on or ahead of schedule and on or below budget.\nAbility to communicate process requirements to other members of the study, project, or proposal team.\nAbility to prepare and deliver oral and written presentations for study and project reports and proposals.\nAn understanding of strategic and change management and an ability to participate in these processes.\nAbility to provide leadership and direction to process engineers within a designated area of expertise.\nAbility to maintain an in-depth knowledge of technological developments within a designated area of activity.\nAccountable for ensuring all process designs meet best practice safety practices using Wood policies and appropriate risk assessment tools such as hazop and risk reviews.\nAccountable for championing the development of new technologies which give Wood a competitive edge.\nAccountable to ensure delivery of process services to designated study, project, and proposal teams on or ahead of schedule and on or under budget.\nAccountable to manage the process of preparation of designated study, project and proposal documents and designs to ensure quality and accuracy of information.\nAssist Business Development including preparing proposals, participating in client meetings, developing client relationships, and reviewing new business proposals.\nActively manage clients to ensure a win:win outcome whenever possible\nProvide guidance / advice to other team members (within process group and Wood in general) as required to ensure the best outcomes.\nMaintain and improve technical knowledge management systems.\nAssist the Process Manager with the development of process warrantees and risk
