The salary range for this position is CAD $157,000 - $192,000 per year. We are committed to ensuring fairness and inclusivity by relying on the expertise from a team of professional recruiters for the application reviews, interviews, and qualification assessments.\n Typical Responsibilities:\nServe as the Senior Process Engineer on projects; Plan and coordinate process engineering deliverables and activities on technically complex projects.\nDevelop and review process engineering deliverables on schedule including material balances, process design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, operating cost estimates, plant layouts and 3-D models, technical specifications, technical evaluations and provide recommendations for equipment purchases.\nDevelop process circuit design from analysis and interpretation of test-work program results or plant data. \nParticipate in process plant HAZOP reviews. Participate in design reviews (model reviews, ergonomics, maintainability) and manage resolution of action items. \nProvide metallurgical test work definition, supervision, interpretation, and direction. \nLiaise with client process engineers on design issues and incorporating client requirements in a cost-effective and low-risk manner. \nProvide on-site support during construction and commissioning, or for operational improvement. \nAssist in the development of capital and operating cost estimates for metallurgical processes. \nPrepare or assist in proposals, design drawings, calculations, specifications and other engineering documentation using standards and/or new methods as required. \nCoordinate and interface with equipment suppliers and other disciplines to maximize output. \nProviding technical leadership and expertise within the Process Engineering department.\nProviding technical guidance and advice to other functional departments and the wider organization when required. \nWork and communicate with project management team to determine the technical approach for process engineering work at the proposal and study design stages. \nAssisting the Business Development team in identifying business opportunities, preparing high-caliber proposals, and participating in client presentations and meetings. \nProvide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members and assist in their professional development. \nPerform other related duties as assigned. \nApplicants must be authorized to work lawfully in Canada without sponsorship from Wood, now or in the future.\n What makes you remarkable?\nAt Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. discipline. \nA minimum of 15 years’ experience in mineral processing and/or hydrometallurgy with at least 10 years’ experience in Uranium processing projects in a consulting environment. \nRegistered or eligible for registration as a professional engineer in Canada. \nIn-depth technical knowledge of Uranium processing and process plant design and operation, with the ability to deliver best practice plant design.\nStrong understanding of how the process engineering activities integrate into a complete project. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills in English. \nWell-developed analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience with process modelling software (METSIM©, SysCAD, AspenPlus). \nUnderstanding of common international standards and regulatory authority requirements in Mining & Minerals processing sector. \nGood commercial awareness/risk management knowledge is an asset.\nExperience in estimating operating costs for metallurgical processes. \nSound interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations and reports. \nAn understanding of strategic and change management, and the ability to participate in these processes. \nEffective leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills. \nGood organizational and time management skills. \nAbility to travel as required. \nAbility to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment.\nAuthorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is
