Each day brings different challenges and learning opportunities as the team works toward achieving 100% compliance through daily process monitoring and a comprehensive maintenance system.\nYou will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the treatment plant and pump stations while overseeing a small team of two operators. This includes scheduling, coordinating, and directing plant staff in the overall operation of the treatment processes and maintenance activities throughout the facilities.\nYou will also help foster a safe work environment for all plant personnel and visitors. In addition, you will regularly prepare reports for regulators, the client, and Woodard & Curran; manage the project’s annual operating and capital budgets; oversee the scope and schedule of contractual obligations; and serve as the primary point of contact between the client and Woodard & Curran.\nThis position is supported by an Area Manager. However, the Plant Manager must be comfortable working in a self-directed environment with minimal daily supervision.\nWoodard & Curran is dedicated to the growth and development of our employees and wants to help you along your career path.\nWhat You Will Be Responsible For\nSupport the daily operation and maintenance of assigned equipment and systems, including residuals management, electrical and mechanical components, SCADA and remote communication networks, and strategic pump and flow management.\nManage and maintain the daily operations log.\nCollect samples and conduct laboratory testing when necessary to support regulatory compliance.\nMeet regularly with the client to discuss and review plant operations and maintenance.\nManage annual operating and capital budgets.\nMonitor facility operations by inspecting equipment and reviewing operating data, records, and reports.\nCoordinate required sampling activities.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date project records.\nPrepare and review all required reports.\nWork in cooperation with the client to respond to complaints related to the operation of the wastewater treatment facility and pump stations.\nInitiate appropriate action to resolve operational issues.\nManage repair, maintenance, and construction activities for the project.\nCoordinate repair, maintenance, and construction activities with the client.\nEnsure employees receive proper training on materials, equipment, tools, and safety procedures.\nSchedule\nThe regular schedule for this position is:\nMonday through Friday\n7:00 AM to 3:30 PM\nThe Plant Manager must also be available for standby duty and on-call coverage. This may include working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.\nThe position is responsible for responding to emergency events and alarm call-outs as scheduled and required.
