Wood Rodgers is known for incredibly positive company culture and environment, heavy cross-collaboration, and many perks that other firms do not offer!\nThis is a staffed, hourly, non-exempt position.\nA day in the life as a Wood Rodgers' Assistant Engineer\nLearn and gain valuable experience in all aspects of engineering.\nPreparation of engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for roadway systems and other transportation related structures, including calculations and cost estimating.\nAssist with layout and plan preparation with other design team members.\nPrepare technical specifications.\nParticipate in proposal and report writing.\nAnd of course, “other duties as assigned.\"\nQualifications & Skills\nBachelor’s degree in civil engineering required. \n0 to 5 years of experience performing the essential duties listed above. \nWillingness to learn, grow, innovate, and be mentored.\nKnowledge of Civil Engineering principles and practices. \nSkilled in the use of computers for AutoCAD, Civil3D and Microsoft Office Suite. \nE.I.T. Certification; or ability to get it within 6 months. \nAbility to gather, organize and analyze engineering data.\nCapability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.\nAbility to work effectively as a member of an engineering team. \nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nA note on hourly pay ranges\nThe range does not reflect geographic variations and may fluctuate above or below the stated amount.
