Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Level I:

Estimated annual base pay: $74,750 (minimum) - $84,500 (midpoint) - $104,000 (maximum)

Level II:

Estimated annual base pay: $77,000 (minimum) - $100,000 (midpoint) - $123,000 (maximum)

Level I:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Support: Provide technical support to troubleshoot basic process issues and assist operators in maintaining workflows. Document downtime trends and evaluate defective hardware for basic disposition actions such as rework or scrap.

  • Manufacturing Process Ownership: Assist in creating and documenting basic manufacturing processes, ensuring workflows are captured accurately and reflect production requirements.

  • Process Capability and Improvement: Collect data to support evaluations of process capability and identify minor issues in production processes.

  • Production Documentation Management: Assist in maintaining and updating production documentation, including SOPs, process flow diagrams, and basic work instructions. Ensure documentation is organized and accessible.

  • Project Support and Leadership: Tracking project milestones, maintaining documentation, and supporting basic project tasks.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in basic manufacturing principles, software tools, and routine equipment support.

  • Ability to calibrate liquid and air flow measurement equipment with guidance.

  • Ability to check and adjust basic instruments such as pressure sensors, gauges, and manometers.

  • Ability to calibrate temperature sensors using reference tools and standard test equipment.

  • Understands how to verify measurement equipment is accurate and ready for use.

  • Supports quality and production teams by providing reliable test data.

  • Focuses on routine problem-solving and adherence to standard procedures.

  • Demonstrates foundational communication and technical documentation skills.

  • Prioritizes learning and following instructions rather than leading or initiating improvements.

  • Can present ideas and recommendations to leadership as needed to support collaboration across departments.

  • May assist in diagnosing and resolving complex issues in PCBAs, including identifying component failures, soldering defects, or design flaws.

  • May work with design engineers to review PCB layouts and designs for manufacturability and reliability.

  • May participate in DFMA reviews for PCBAs to identify potential production challenges.

  • May support root cause analysis for recurring component or assembly failures and help recommend corrective actions.

Other Qualifications:

  • 4 Year Bachelors BS OR 4+ years equivalent experience

  • International - Bachelors BS/University degree equivalent by Country OR 4+ years equivalent experience

Level II:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Process Ownership: Develop and maintain manufacturing processes for assigned areas, ensuring accuracy and consistency in workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine process steps and improve production efficiency.

  • Process Capability and Improvement: Analyze process capability using statistical tools like SPC, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving small-scale enhancements.

  • Production Documentation Management: Create and refine production documentation to ensure alignment with manufacturing standards and compliance requirements. Begin transitioning documentation to digital platforms for improved accuracy, accessibility, and collaboration.

  • Project Support and Leadership: Manage small-scale manufacturing projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met under supervision.

Key Skills:

  • Advanced expertise in manufacturing technologies, applications, and equipment calibration.

  • Ability to independently calibrate liquid and air flow measurement equipment.

  • Ability to check, adjust, and troubleshoot pressure sensors, gauges, and manometers.

  • Ability to calibrate temperature sensors using reference tools and test equipment with minimal supervision.

  • Ensures measurement equipment is accurate, validated, and ready for production or test use.

  • Supports quality and production teams by delivering reliable and traceable test data.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities to address moderately complex issues.

  • Skilled in identifying and implementing process improvements for greater efficiency.

  • Takes on informal leadership roles, guiding and mentoring less experienced team members.

  • Demonstrates business acumen and adaptability to new technologies, contributing to broader organizational goals.

  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders and teams on technical or strategic matters.

  • Can present ideas and recommendations to leadership to support cross-functional collaboration.

  • Leads efforts to diagnose and resolve complex issues in PCBAs, including identifying component failures, soldering defects, or design flaws.

  • Works closely with design engineers to recommend changes to PCB layouts and designs to improve manufacturability and reliability.

  • Conducts DFMA reviews for PCBAs to identify and mitigate production challenges.

  • Conducts root cause analysis on recurring component or assembly failures and recommends corrective actions to improve reliability and product lifecycle performance.

Other Qualifications:

  • 4 Year Bachelors BS OR 6+ years equivalent experience

  • ASQ CCT Certification preferred
