If you are interested in becoming a Mechanical Assembler at Woodward, we have an exciting opportunity for you!\nMechanical Assembler reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, adjusting, and fitting subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment, in an industrial setting. Performs low to moderately complex assembly and test. Products may include but are not limited to small products, light subassemblies, and/or complete units of a smaller size.\nAssemble, install, align, adjust and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment as per work instructions.\nClean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per proper work instructions.\nFollow work instructions associated with assembly skills to become certified for work being performed.\nWork with close tolerances and fits to meet engineering and operating requirements.\nComplete all required paperwork in an accurate and efficient manner, including Quality Assurance and Test Record.\n\nWhat we are looking for...\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nMechanical aptitude required\nAbility to use a variety of basic hand tools\nBasic written/verbal communication skills\nBasic computer skills \nWillingness to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, and optimism for work activities\nDetail orientation and ability to follow work instructions\nThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
