Mentors Project Coordinators.\nProduct Actions - Accountable for project results.\nProject Artifacts - Accountable for project artifacts (scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, etc.).\nProject Governance - Lead project meetings and reviews.\nProject Management - Accountable for project gates and deliverables.\nManaging suppliers and their development schedules\nKey Skills:\nLeadership (Empathy/Influence/Mentoring) - Inspires and motivates teams for medium to large size projects to achieve project goals. Builds trust, resolving conflicts, and fostering collaboration among team members. Takes personal ownership of the project and drives commitment from team members.\nTime Management / Prioritization - Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects schedules, set milestones, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes. Prioritizes tasks and effectively addresses competing demands.\nCommunication - Effectively conveys project information to stakeholders, team members, and sponsors. Tailors communication to different audiences (e.g., executives, technical teams, clients). Proactively manages stakeholder expectations and ensures alignment on goals.\nStakeholder Management (upward) - Engages stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives. Addresses stakeholder concerns, manages expectations, and balances competing priorities. Builds and maintains strong relationships to secure stakeholder buy-in and resolves conflicts.\nRisk Management - Identifies, analyzes, and mitigates risks throughout the project lifecycle. Develops contingency plans and addresses potential obstacles. Monitors and addresses risks to minimize negative and maximize positive impacts on project objectives.\nProblem-Solving - Analyzes complex situations, identifies solutions, and makes informed decisions with the support of the Program Manager or the PMO Leader. Manages challenges and conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle. Leverages data and metrics to evaluate options and choose the best course of action and escalates appropriately to the key stakeholders with options.\nBudget Management - Demonstrated ability to estimate, allocate, and manage project budgets effectively. Monitors financial resources and performance to ensure projects are delivered within budget.\nTeam Management (cross-functional/matrix) - Creates teamwork by fostering trust, accountability, and open communication. Identifies team strengths and assigns roles to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Encourages collaboration to contribute to project success, fostering culture of excellence.\nScope (Change) Management - Adjusts plans in response to changing circumstances or new information. Clearly defines and controls the project scope to prevent scope creep. Manages change requests while ensuring alignment with project objectives and constraints. Maintains focus on deliverables and ensures they meet agreed-upon requirements.\nTechnical Project Management Skills (incl. Scheduling) - Strong project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches). Effectively uses PM tools and/or software (e.g., Planisware, Jira, etc.) to plan, execute, and monitor projects. Applies standard PM techniques like Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Gantt charts.\nSuccessful candidates typically have:\nManufacturing experience\nExperience managing complex projects\nExperience relocating large equipment between plants\nThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
