You will also be working closely with the other cross functional workstreams to ensure seamless end to end processes supporting training, testing, hypercare and system development.\nDomestic and International Travel 50% (possibly higher during site deployments of S/4).\nAreas of responsibilities that will include but are not limited to, Actual Costing with PMMO, Standard Costing, Inventory Controls, Intercompany, Payroll & Benefits, Lease Accounting, Capex/PPE, Financial Reporting, Taxes, Compliance/GAAP/SOX.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCompliance: A Senior Manager Accounting is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all financial regulations and laws. This includes maintaining accurate records, filing tax returns, and adhering to accounting standards.\n\nManaging the accounting team: A Senior Manager Accounting is responsible for managing a team of accounting professionals, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members, and ensuring that all accounting processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.\n\nFinancial analysis and reporting: A Senior Manager Accounting is responsible for overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. These reports are used to provide accurate financial information to stakeholders and help guide business decisions.\n\nFinancial strategy: A Senior Manager Accounting is responsible for developing and implementing long-term financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. This includes identifying opportunities for growth and optimizing financial performance.\n\nStrategic partnerships: A Senior Manager Accounting is responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with external and internal stakeholders, including auditors, vendors, and other financial professionals. This includes negotiating and reviewing contracts, managing relationships, and ensuring that the organization receives the best possible financial advice and guidance.\n\nKey Skills:\nCommunication: The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, team members, and clients.\n\nCompliance: The ability to stay up to date on financial regulations and laws and ensure compliance with accounting standards.\n\nFinancial analysis: The ability to analyze financial data and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.\n\nLeadership: The ability to lead and motivate a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, direction, and support.\n\nProject management: The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.\n\nTechnology proficiency: The ability to use financial software and tools to manage accounting data, generate reports, and analyze financial performance.\n\nStrategic thinking: The ability to think beyond the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and consider how financial decisions will impact the organization as a whole.
