The Project Manager will primarily lead the execution of projects for our Texas clients from proposal through detailed design. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated with a strong technical background to guide staff through projects. The Project Manager may also serve as a subject matter expert in support of other projects across the country and around the world.\n We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.\nWhat you will do:\nLead project teams through the development of preliminary engineering, detailed design, and quantification of transportation projects.\nEnsure deliverables and quality standards are met in accordance with the agreed scope, schedule, and budget.\nManage and support internal and client cross-functional teams.\nLeverage existing relationships and new client and consultant relationships in the pursuit of new work.\nActively participate in professional societies, organizations, and conferences by serving on boards, presenting at luncheons or conferences.\nWhat you will bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program preferred.\nActive PE License in Texas or ability to obtain a Texas PE license within in one year of hire.\nTXDOT Prequalification’sBridge Design\nMulti-Level Interchange Design\nBridge Class Culvert, Non-Bridge Class Culvert and Inlet Design\n\nMinimum 10 years of experience in bridge design preferred.\nMust be able to travel 10-15% to client sites.\nKnowledge of TXDOT Project Development Process, construction documentation & administration and knowledge in state, local municipalities design process is a plus.\nTXDOT precertification’s in TXDOT bridge design/development preferred.\nAutoCAD and Civil3D experience preferred.\nStrong leadership, organization, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals.\nWoolpert, Inc. is a cutting-edge national architecture, engineering and geospatial (AEG) firm.
