This is an on-site role with a schedule of 4 days working at the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) on Lackland AFB and 1 day working remotely.\nThe GeoBase Analyst will be part of a dynamic fast-paced team supporting United States Department of the Air Force (DAF) installations for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) GeoBase program. Analyst will support installations worldwide, utilizing Esri ArcGIS desktop and enterprise solutions to meet installation and GeoBase program geospatial requirements in coordination with GeoBase Service Desk managers.\nWhat You Will Do:\nAs a GeoBase Regional Support Team Analyst at Woolpert, you will: \nCreate and maintain Air Force Civil Engineering GIS data in an enterprise environment, managing a versioned, multi-user geodatabase\nCreate, update, and produce a variety of installation, range, and vicinity maps, drawings, plans, and other graphic representations using cartographic techniques to represent spatial data\nPerform data quality assurance and control, ensuring compliance with Air Force and Department of Defense geospatial data standards\nPerform regular and frequent data updates in coordination with analysts or government personnel located at DAF installations and other locations\nWork closely with end users in the Air Force installation GeoBase offices and other base organizations to support GIS requirements, technical issues, and training needs such as data stewardship, ArcGIS applications, SDSFIE data model, enterprise capabilities, and GeoBase program objectives\nUtilize the GeoBase Agile framework to enable task visibility and project transparency to AFCEC client:Use Agile platform (Jira, Confluence) to record all processes and tasks, and manage all projects\n\nMaintain detailed continuity folders and AF GeoBase Knowledge Base, documenting current installation-specific workflows, Standard Operating Procedures, and GeoBase program functional processes to ensure sustained and reliable operations\nCoordinate and execute GIS data submissions and requests to authorized stakeholders and mission partners, including disaster response and emergency mapping and analysis support\nCreate and maintain installation and AF enterprise geospatial metadata\nPerform complex GIS data analysis, extraction (digitization), and geocoding processes\nIntegrate geospatial imagery, lidar, survey, and field collected data into the GeoBase enterprise\nMigrate or convert legacy GIS, CAD, non-spatial, and tabular data to GeoBase standards\nAnalyze current processes and recommend improvements or other best practice solutions\nMaintain data for archival storage, record keeping, and inventory of source data and maps\nWork with GeoBase Portal content managers and technical teams to create or improve data and geoprocessing services for enterprise availability to all system users\nWhat You Will Bring:\nU.S. citizenship\nTwo (2) to four (4) years of geospatial experience\nActive Tier 1 Investigation (National Agency Check and Inquiries NACI), security clearance, or the ability to pass a Tier 1 InvestigationWillingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening\n\nExtensive knowledge of Esri ArcGIS software and capabilities:Two (2) years of experience using ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap) or ArcGIS Pro\nTwo (2) years of experience using Portal for ArcGIS or ArcGIS Online (AGOL)\n\nTwo (2) years of experience in a role requiring:Excellent problem-solving and consulting skills with emphasis on client and team member engagement\nProven experience providing excellent customer service\nStrong technical proficiency using Microsoft Office products\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for our dynamic working environment\nAttention to detail and proven experience meeting data quality assurance and accuracy standards\nStrong organizational, time management, and analytical skills\nAbility to work independently, collaboratively as part of a team, and as a member of a large organization\nAbility to offer constructive feedback and problem solving, as well as clear direction to support goals\n\nThe following experience is favored: \nExperience with the DAF GeoBase program\nExperience with the Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) GIS data standard, or other defined spatial data model\nProficiency using ArcGIS Pro Attribute Rules or Data Reviewer extension\nExperience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcSDE, or ArcGIS Server\nExperience with GIS databases, CAD software, GPS field data collection, or surveying\nProficiency in processing and using geospatial imagery and lidar data\nExperience with Agile project management methodology using Atlassian or similar platforms\nEnterprise GIS experience\nExperience with DoW geospatial data and systems\nBenefits You Will Love\nCertified as a Great Place to Work, Woolpert is one of the fastest-growing architecture, engineering, and geospatial companies in the world.
