Reporting to the Melbourne Survey Manager, you will be executing precise surveying tasks on built-form construction projects. This role involves set out, verification, as built and documentation of survey data to support engineering and construction projects. \nYou will be: \nPerforming calculations, set out, as-builts and verification tasks for structural elements, gridlines, and services on built-form projects. \nProviding accurate plans, measurements, calculations, and reports to support engineering and construction teams. \nManaging survey equipment, software, and data management systems (e.g.Leica, AutoCAD, Civil 3D) \nUsing surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, theodolites) to measure angles, distances, and elevation. \nLeading and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development aligned with company goals. \nWe’re looking for someone who has: \nUniversity qualification or TAFE Diploma in Surveying. \nA minimum of 3 years of practical experience in construction surveying, specifically in high-rise or built-form projects. \nExtensive knowledge of surveying instruments and software (e.g., 12d software, AutoCAD, Leica Survey equipment) \nA valid driver’s license and White Card. \nExperience in communicating with clients and understanding their requirements. \nAbility to multitask and work independently. \nWith this role, the successful candidate must successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
