This position will support the planning, design, and delivery of civil/site infrastructure for energy-related projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical experience in site development, grading, stormwater drainage, and civil design, along with a Professional Engineer (PE) license.\nThe successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to develop practical, constructible solutions while supporting projects from initial planning and conceptual design through final design and construction.\nResponsibilities\nLead and support civil/site design for energy and infrastructure projects.\nDevelop site grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and site development plans.\nPrepare design calculations, technical specifications, reports, construction documents, and cost estimates.\nPerform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses associated with site drainage and stormwater systems.\nSupport site layout, access roads, utility coordination, earthwork, and related civil infrastructure.\nCoordinate civil design requirements with electrical, structural, mechanical, environmental, survey, and other project disciplines.\nReview plans and calculations for technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.\nSupport permitting and coordination with municipalities, regulatory agencies, utilities, clients, and other stakeholders.\nProvide engineering support during bidding and construction, including responding to RFIs and reviewing design-related submittals.\nManage technical assignments and coordinate with designers and junior engineering staff.\nParticipate in client meetings and contribute to project planning, scope development, schedules, and budgets.\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n Professional Engineer (PE) license.\nExperience in civil/site engineering with a strong background in:Site development\nGrading and earthwork\nStormwater drainage and management\nErosion and sediment control\nSite utilities and infrastructure\n\nExperience developing civil construction documents, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.\nStrong understanding of engineering principles and applicable local, state, and federal design requirements.\nAbility to work effectively on multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred:\nExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant civil engineering/design software.\nExperience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and stormwater design tools.\nExperience navigating permitting requirements for complex site development projects.\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and projects simultaneously\nBase pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.\nPay Range\n$75,400—$113,200 USD\nFind out more about what Woolpert has to offer here: http://woolpert.com/about-us/\nWoolpert is an equal-opportunity employer.
