In this role, you will lead the successful delivery of complex land development projects while serving as a key leader within multidisciplinary project teams. \nThe Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including proposal development; project team selection; scope, schedule, and budget monitoring; site grading, erosion & sediment control, and stormwater design; permitting; quality and risk oversight; and client satisfaction. This individual will collaborate on a project-level basis with private-sector energy clients, municipalities, and review agencies to deliver innovative solutions that improve the communities we live within. \nThis role is ideal for a results-driven professional with experience managing projects involving commercial land development on project sites ranging from approximately five to hundreds of acres. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to leave positive impressions on clients while driving project success. \nWhat You Will Do \nProject Leadership & Delivery \nLead land development projects from proposal and planning phases through execution and closeout. \nDevelop project execution strategies, schedules, staffing plans, budgets, and resource forecasts to ensure successful project outcomes. \nOversee the design of commercial project sites, including grading; stormwater (SWM) and erosion & sediment control (ESC) design; preparation of SWM/ESC plans and reports; local, state, and federal permits and approvals; and regulatory closeout. \nCoordinate multidisciplinary teams consisting of engineering, design, GIS, survey, environmental, permitting, right-of-way, and construction support professionals. \nMonitor project performance to proactively identify and resolve issues related to scope, schedule, quality, staffing, and financial performance. \nAssist with construction administration, including submittal reviews, requests for information (RFIs), and site inspections. \nEnsure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Woolpert's quality standards and client expectations. \nClient Engagement & Relationship Management \nServe as the project-level technical lead and primary point of contact for assigned projects. \nFoster long-term client relationships through exceptional service, communication, and project delivery. \nLead project meetings and project reviews. \nCoordinate with client managers to identify opportunities to expand Woolpert's services and support client growth objectives. \nFinancial & Contract Management \nManage project budgets, profitability, invoicing, forecasts, earned revenue, subcontractor costs, and overall project financial performance. \nTrack project metrics and key performance indicators to ensure projects achieve operational and financial goals. \nAdminister contracts, negotiate scope changes, and manage change orders. \nCollaborate with leadership to mitigate project risks and improve project performance. \nTeam Leadership & Collaboration \nProvide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations. \nAssist staff with technical leadership to further their skills and career growth. \nPromote a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, innovation, and continuous improvement. \nPartner closely with senior leadership to support strategic business objectives. \nGrowth & Business Development \nSupport business development efforts through proposal development, project scoping, and estimating. \nFacilitate client relationships through quality communication, service, and deliverables. \nContribute to the continued growth and expansion of Woolpert's Energy Group. \nRequired Qualifications \nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. \nProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license or equivalent licensure/certification allowing for legal submission of required plans, permits, and approvals in Pennsylvania. \n10+ years of progressive design experience with land development projects, including grading, SWM, and ESC design; local ordinance requirements; and state/federal permitting. \nDemonstrated success managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and financial performance. \nStrong understanding of project controls, risk management, contract administration, forecasting, and resource planning. \nProven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and successfully manage multiple projects concurrently. \nExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. \nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment. \nPreferred Qualifications \nExperience with site design in the solar energy industry, including common project delivery structures, site layout requirements, and the utility interconnection process. \nExperience working with energy developers, EPC firms, review agencies, and large infrastructure clients. \nGeneral understanding of project management software such as Microsoft Dynamics or Deltek Vantagepoint. \nAdditional site/civil experience and licensure in Pennsylvania. \nBase pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.\nPay Range\n$118,200—$177,400 USD\nFind out more about what Woolpert has to offer here: http://woolpert.com/about-us/\nWoolpert is an equal-opportunity employer.
