This position is primarily responsible for assisting with technical delivery on projects as well as reporting for specific project phase(s) and/or task(s). This position is key in establishing and improving levels of team technical competency, quality, and efficiency. This position will be part of a team engaging stormwater and energy clients in Pennsylvania and Virginia as well as across the country in support of client objectives in the areas of Water Resources Design, Drainage Design, Utilities Design, Site Civil Design, Process Improvement, and related studies and analyses. \nWe are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country where the job is located. \nWhat You Will Do:\nSupport various phases of our Site/Civil projects for energy clients in Pennsylvania, specifically in the areas of stormwater and erosion and sediment control design and permitting.\nStormwater and erosion and sediment control design that meet local and state regulatory requirements\nPrepare all permitting documents for zoning permit approval through NPDES stormwater permit approval.\nPerform technical aspects of specified deliverables and lead a junior team member in creating deliverables consistent with scope, schedule, and budget.\nDelegate appropriate tasks to junior team members and perform quality control of deliverables produced by junior team members\nManage phases of projects, ensuring completion of work that meets quality assurance requirements.\nPerform field work and attend public meetings, as needed.\nAnalyze and interpret information, including field data, to present to clients in a meaningful format.\nMeet internal and/or external project deadlines.\nComply with and implement clearly defined QA/QC measures.\nCommunicate issues affecting phase/task or project schedule, budget, or quality and escalate unresolved issues to the project manager, team leader, and/or discipline leader. \nSupport the development and advancement of stormwater design projects with consideration of local regulatory requirements and design standards.\nAnalyze and interpret stormwater model results for project development and capital improvement program planning.\nWhat You Will Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil, Biosystems, or a related engineering program.\n Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, or the ability to obtain, within 3 months of joining Woolpert.\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.\nAbility and willingness to obtain PE licensure in additional states.\nWillingness to perform technical tasks as assigned, as well as ensure the completion of additional tasks by other team members.\nStrong communication skills, both written and oral.\nStrong organizational skills to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities.\nAbility to interface effectively with clients, team members, and other firm resources.\nMust be proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D\nMust be proficient in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software (e.g., Hydraflow or HydroCad)\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.\nAbility to make sound decisions/recommendations based on the evaluation and synthesis of project information and data.\nTask and personnel management experience is preferred.\nBase pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.\nPay Range\n$87,100—$130,700 USD\nFind out more about what Woolpert has to offer here: http://woolpert.com/about-us/\nWoolpert is an equal-opportunity employer.
