This individual will be expected to assist with the mentoring and coaching of survey staff, including boundary determination, pricing/scoping, quality assurance and quality control of surveying procedures, promoting active communication with other team members, and crew scheduling. The PSM is expected to have foundational knowledge of topographic, control/geodetic, construction staking, boundary/ROW determination, and ALTA surveying. \nWe are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.\nWhat You Will Do:\nPerforms analysis for difficult/complex boundary surveys and prepares associated plats and boundary descriptions.\nPerforms advanced calculations involving field survey data.\nAssists with the preparation of right-of-way plans and conducts QA/QC on said plans.\nPrepares or reviews survey reports and legal descriptions.\nPrepares scopes of work and estimates for survey projects.\nWorks with survey Team Leader to perform professional review of project deliverables.\nResponsible for development of project quality control and quality assurance processes.\nProvides technical expertise and leadership in the project definition and planning phases.\nProvides subject matter expertise and act as a representative of the firm at various functions, as needed.\nWhat You Will Bring:\nMust have a Professional Surveyor License.\nMust be able to work with mathematical concepts appropriate for surveying (survey data reduction including level data, traverse data, and GNSS data).\nMust be able to occasionally travel overnight and work overtime as needed.\nMust have above average verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external relationships.\nTrimble Business Center experience is highly desirable.\nExperience using OpenRoads Designer MicroStation with GeoPak and/or OpenRoads is highly desirable.\nAutoCAD experience is a plus.\nGIS related experience is a plus.\nStrong organizational, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills\nAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals.\nBenefits You Will Love\nCertified as a Great Place to Work, Woolpert is one of the fastest-growing architecture, engineering, and geospatial companies in the world.
