This position reports to the Senior Proposal Manager and is responsible for supporting projects concerning water and energy utilities. Working collectively with market leaders, program directors, project managers, technical subject matter experts (SMEs), and other department resources, the proposal manager is responsible for managing the development of cohesive proposals, including maintaining schedules, organizing resources, coordinating assignments and reviews, implementing win strategy, ensuring compliance, resolving internal team issues, and providing process leadership for prime pursuits. \nWe are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.\nWhat You Will Do:\nLead proposal process through analyzing/outlining solicitation documents, developing pursuit schedule, coordination of technical solution/content development, and engages creative resource support. \nDevelop draft proposal documents for and lead color review meetings. \nEnsure established quality assurance/quality process is followed. \nParticipate in and/or attends pursuit pre-RFP meetings. \nMaintain opportunity, project, and staff data in firm ERP database. \nCoordinate shortlist interview preparation with marketing manager and creative team. \nCoordinate technical writing assignments with subject matter leadership team. \nPerform cross-market compliant QA/QC reviews. \nIdentify and support creation of reusable content. \nResearch ERP data for experience, teaming, and client history to use in proposals. \nParticipate in capture planning to develop proposal solutions and win themes. \nSupport proposal process improvement through internal lessons learned and client debrief. \nActively mentor proposal coordinators and interns. \nActive participation/leadership in industry trade organizations (APMP, SMPS) is a plus.\nWhat You Will Bring:\nBA/BS in relevant field and 5-8 years technical/AEC industry experience or 12+ years relevant AEC experience. \nPrevious proposal experience involving water, wastewater, stormwater, sanitary sewers, and other related services highly preferred. \nStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with ability to work in a team environment, positively influence others, and develop strong internal and external relationships. \nStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines. \nProficient with Microsoft Office, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat. \nExcellent problem-solving skills, time-management, organizational, and record-keeping skills \nYou thrive working in a fast-paced, highly driven environment and can adapt quickly to changing conditions and priorities \nA high level of self-motivation \nBenefits You Will Love\nCertified as a Great Place to Work, Woolpert is one of the fastest-growing architecture, engineering, and geospatial companies in the world.
