Software Development Engineer II

We're looking for a strong SDE-2 who takes real ownership- someone who treats features as theirs to drive from design through production, not just tasks to complete. You'll build for a product used by enterprise frontline teams, with deep expertise in at least one platform (Android, iOS, or Web/Backend) and the curiosity to grow across the stack. We care about ownership, sound engineering judgment, and a learning mindset far more than a checklist of tools. If you take pride in what you ship and how it holds up in production, we want to talk.

Responsibilities:

• Own features end-to-end: design, build, test, ship, and stand behind them in production.
• Take responsibility for the reliability and quality of what you build; debug and resolve production issues rather than hand them off.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code you'd be comfortable maintaining a year later.
• Drive technical and architectural decisions, not just implement them.
• Review code and collaborate across Android, iOS, Web, and Backend teams.
• Help modernise legacy systems while delivering new functionality.

Requirements:

• A genuine ownership mindset: you drive features to production, follow through on problems, and care about outcomes, not just output.
• Strong command of at least one platform: Android: Kotlin + Java, XML/Jetpack Compose, MVVM, coroutines, Retrofit. iOS: Swift + Objective-C, SwiftUI/UIKit, MVVM, Combine, async/await, Core Data. Web/Backend: Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, background job processing, MySQL and Elasticsearch.
• Solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
• Comfort working with REST APIs, databases, and search systems, and an understanding of how clients, APIs, and data layers fit together.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative development.

Nice to Have:

• Experience across multiple platforms.
• CI/CD and a track record of improving and modernising legacy applications.
