The desired candidate will support the Associate Athletic Director for Operations in ensuring efficient departmental operations, accurate financial and administrative processes, and effective coordination across varsity athletics, recreation, and wellness & physical education (WPE).JOB DESCRIPTION\nManage day-to-day PERA operations, including departmental policies and procedures, administrative functions, communications, calendars, and shared files in Microsoft Teams.\nOversee departmental financial operations, including procurement, accounts payable and receivable, team trip payments, game-day admissions, and gift reporting.\nPartner with the Associate Athletic Director for Operations on budget forecasting and financial planning, and support staff with budget planning, team trips, and expense reports.\nCoordinate NCAA championship bid submissions and financial reconciliation.\nManage student employment and payroll, including hiring, documentation, and federal work-study compliance, and supervise student employees in the PERA main office.\nServe as the primary departmental contact for Teamworks platforms (Hub, C&R, and AMS), including data accuracy and staff onboarding and training.\nServe on the Event Management Group and provide operational support for PERA events, athletic championships, and special events.\nAssist the Director of PERA with special projects across WPE courses, recreation, and varsity athletics.\nPerforms all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree.\n1 year of relevant experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in college athletics or recreation operations.\nExperience with Teamworks or similar athletics management software.\nExperience with procurement, accounts payable, or budget tracking.\nExperience supervising student employees.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.\nSalary Grade 6: $55,400- $58,175 per year (depending on experience)\nSalary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.\nCompensation at WPI\nFLSA STATUS\nUnited States of America (Exempt)WPI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
