Backed by $100M from Index Ventures, General Catalyst, Highland Europe, and others, we are building one of the defining companies in legal AI.\nThe Role\nLegal Solutions Engineers turn the product into real outcomes for customers.\nYou’ll work with customers after purchase to design, configure, and implement legal workflows inside Wordsmith. This role sits close to the customer, helping them embed the platform into how their legal function actually operates.\nIt’s part implementation, part problem solving, and part advisory. You’ll combine legal understanding with product knowledge to help customers get meaningful value from the platform.\nWhat you’ll do\nCustomer Implementation\nLead implementation projects for new customers\n\nDesign workflows and automation tailored to each organisation\n\nConfigure the platform to support real legal use cases\n\nSolution Design\nWork directly with legal teams and Legal Ops leaders to understand how they operate\n\nTranslate legal processes into structured workflows and AI-enabled automation\n\nAdvise on best practices for implementing legal technology\n\nCustomer Success & Expansion\nSupport onboarding and early adoption\n\nHelp customers expand into additional workflows and use cases\n\nPartner with Account Management to identify growth opportunities\n\nProduct Feedback\nSurface patterns, insights, and recurring requests to Product and Engineering\n\nHelp shape how the product evolves based on real usage\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nExperience in legal tech, legal operations, or process transformation\n\nStrong understanding of how in-house legal teams work\n\nAbility to manage customer projects and guide stakeholders through change\n\nComfortable working across legal and technical domains\n\nStructured thinker - you can turn messy processes into clear systems\n\nStrong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers\n\nTypical backgrounds include:\nLegal Engineers\n\nLegal Operations professionals\n\nLawyers who have moved into legal tech\n\nImplementation or solutions consultants in SaaS with a legal background\n\nHow we work\nWe’re an in-office team in Edinburgh. We work together because it helps us collaborate closely across product, engineering, and customer teams. You should expect to be in the office as your default.\nThis is a high ownership role. You’ll be trusted to run projects, work directly with customers, and drive outcomes without heavy oversight.\nThe problems are often not fully defined.
