You will work closely with engineers in Singapore, US and across international teams to design, scale, and secure the systems that power Workato’s automation platform - trusted by thousands of enterprises and processing billions of events every day.\nAs a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be part of the team responsible for the architecture, scalability, and reliability of Workato’s distributed cloud platform. You’ll design and optimize the systems that allow our services to run securely and efficiently at scale. This is a highly technical role that requires deep experience with cloud infrastructure, Linux internals, and large-scale distributed systems.\n In this role, you will also be responsible to:\nDesign, build, and maintain a global, distributed, and resilient cloud infrastructure.\n\nCollaborate with US-based engineering teams to plan and deliver complex platform initiatives.\n\nPatch and optimize open-source components for performance and security.\n\nDevelop low-level internal services using Linux syscalls and networking primitives.\n\nManage and provision AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.\n\nWrite and maintain Kubernetes manifests and deployment configurations for critical workloads.\n\nImprove and maintain CI/CD pipelines for scalable and secure component delivery.\n\nTune Linux systems and open-source software for high performance and hardened security.\n\nBuild internal tools to streamline engineering workflows and operational automation.\n\nParticipate in architecture reviews, incident response, and performance analysis to ensure system reliability.\n\nRequirements\nQualifications / Experience / Technical Skills\n5+ years of experience in infrastructure or systems engineering roles.\n\nProven expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.\n\nStrong understanding of Linux internals, including networking and system-level performance tuning.\n\nExperience operating infrastructure on AWS at scale.\n\nProficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes. \n\nSolid understanding of network security and cloud security best practices.\n\nHands-on experience optimizing CI/CD workflows and automating deployments.\n\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with Golang for tooling or internal services.\n\nFamiliarity with Kafka, Redis, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies.\n\nExperience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or VictoriaMetrics.\n\nUnderstanding of Vault or other secrets management systems.\n\nContributions to or maintenance of open-source infrastructure projects.\n\nTech
