The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in accounts payable operations. While your duties will depend on the specific needs of your client, they will include, but not be limited to:\nAssist in the processing of vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approval, and timely entry into the accounting system.\nReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, communicating effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.\nPrepare and process payments to vendors, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers, in accordance with established payment terms and schedules.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system, including contact information, payment terms, and banking details.\nAssist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including generating accounts payable reports and reconciliations.\nAssist in the preparation of 1099 forms and other tax-related documents for vendors as required.\nContribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining accounts payable procedures and enhancing overall efficiency.\nRequirements\n2+ years of proven experience in accounts payable, finance, or related roles is advantageous.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple taskssimultaneously.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment\n Technical Requirements\nProcessor: Intel 11th Gen (or AMD Ryzen 5000 series) for Windows | M2 for Macs. \nRAM: 16 GB minimum. \nInternet: Stable connection of 50 Mbps minimum. \nPlease note that devices such as MacBook Neos and Chromebooks are not fit for our roles.\nBenefits\nCompensation & Growth\nAt WorkBetterNow, we believe in rewarding commitment and supporting long-term success.
