This worldwide team is comprised of contract management professionals who handle diverse categories of work across Workday’s customer base and net new accounts. The team is asked to manage a large volume of requests and in collaboration with several cross functional teams.\nAbout the Role\nWorkday’s Global Legal Services team is looking for a high-performing Contracts Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assume a wide range of responsibilities, all of which will require critical thinking, innovation, and integrity. We are looking for someone with outstanding negotiation skills, attention to detail, high energy, strong project management skills and a positive attitude.\nKey Responsibilities\nNegotiate, redline and review contractual documents including MSA, DPE and other agreements.\n\nDraft and revise contract wording to address various situations as they arise\n\nManage workflow, document generation and review processes for a variety of contract types, beginning with receipt of requests for contract generation through routing for signatures and final distribution\n\nAssist with maintenance of contracts management system as well as implementation and enforcement of contract practices and policies\n\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams during contract review cycles, acting as a key contact for the legal department by providing guidance on commonly requested edits, non-standard terms, policies, copies, questions, etc.\n\nReview proposed modifications to contracts and work with internal business partners and third parties to negotiate terms, and obtain approvals for modifications as required.\n\nMaintain processes between the legal department and other groups and collaborate on ways to continually improve the contracts administration process\n\nProvide support to in-house legal staff, including research, correspondence and record-keeping\n\nExecute assigned projects as determined by needs of the business and department\n\nAbout You\nBasic Qualifications\n5+ years of experience managing contracts (including drafting and negotiation) in a corporate environment\n\nBachelor’s Degree or above\n\nOther Qualifications\nProficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint\n\nExperience with a contract management system, e.g. Apttus or others\n\nExperience with electronic signature software, e.g. EchoSign, Docusign\n\nStrong collaborative spirit, including outstanding influence and interpersonal skills\n\nPositive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output, team oriented environment\n\nLanguage skills (French, Spanish or German) would be a plus, but not required.\n\nWorkday Pay Transparency Statement (For EU Locations Only)\nListed below is the base salary range applicable to this position.
