Workday is an American enterprise software company founded in 2005 by two PeopleSoft executives after Oracle's hostile takeover of their previous employer. It sells cloud applications for human capital management and financial management to large organisations, covering core human resources records, payroll, talent, workforce planning, general ledger accounting, procurement and planning in a single system with one data model and a common release schedule for every customer. Headquartered in Pleasanton and listed on Nasdaq, it competes principally with SAP and Oracle for large enterprise deployments and has embedded artificial intelligence agents across its applications.

Process Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and simplification of financial processes and reporting, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives to establish robust measurement and monitoring practices. Collaborate closely with IT, Data, and other finance teams to align system capabilities with business goals.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
