About the Team

The Deployment Technology team is transforming how Workday is deployed and managed. Our mission is to reduce deployment time, cost and complexity while accelerating customer time to value.

We build capabilities that enable implementers, consultants and our partner ecosystem to accelerate customer deployments using best-in-class generative AI experiences, intelligent automation, reusable configuration, Skills, MCP and platform services. We also bring these capabilities into Workday so customers can manage and maintain their environments more independently, adopt new features and SKUs, and manage ongoing change through intuitive, AI-enabled experiences.

Working closely with customers, partners and product teams across Workday, we are defining the next generation of deployment technology and helping make implementation and ongoing change simpler, faster and more scalable.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager in Deployment Technology, you will define and drive product strategy for key areas of the portfolio and translate that strategy into execution. You will own roadmaps and prioritization, shape how we iterate toward the longer-term vision, and play a leading role in driving adoption across customers, partners, Professional Services and enablement teams.

· Define product vision and strategy for key areas within the Deployment Technology portfolio.

· Own the roadmap and prioritization across connected capabilities, translating long-term strategy into a clear sequence of product investments and customer outcomes.

· Continuously evolve priorities based on customer insight, adoption data, technical learning and changes in the broader strategy.

· Partner closely with engineering and design to make product trade-offs and drive high-quality execution.

· Work directly with strategic customers, partners and implementation teams to validate problems, shape solutions and identify broader platform opportunities.

· Drive adoption across customers, Workday Professional Services and the partner ecosystem, working with enablement teams to remove barriers to usage.

· Define success metrics across product usage, adoption and customer outcomes, using those insights to guide roadmap and investment decisions.

· Shape AI-enabled deployment experiences including Skills, MCP-based tools, intelligent automation and agentic workflows, with a focus on experimentation and real-world validation.

· Influence senior stakeholders and represent Deployment Technology in customer, partner and leadership forums.

· Provide product leadership across connected initiatives, mentoring and guiding other Product Managers and aligning execution with the broader strategy.

About You

Basic Qualifications

· 6+ years of Product Management experience delivering enterprise software, SaaS or platform products.

· Proven experience defining product strategy, owning complex roadmaps and making prioritization decisions across competing needs.

· Experience taking products or major capabilities from discovery through delivery, launch, adoption and iteration.

· Experience working closely with software engineering teams on technically complex products.

· Demonstrated ability to influence across large, cross-functional organisations and align senior stakeholders without direct authority.

· Strong customer-facing experience and excellent written, verbal and executive communication skills.

Other Qualifications

· Strong product judgement with the ability to move between long-term strategy and practical execution.

· Proven experience driving product adoption, enablement or rollout for enterprise technology.

· Experience working with partner ecosystems, Professional Services organisations or large-scale enterprise implementations.

· Strong understanding of modern AI product development, with familiarity across AI agents, MCP, Skills, APIs, automation or evaluation frameworks.

· Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and connect product decisions to measurable customer and business outcomes.

· Experience mentoring or guiding Product Managers and improving product quality across a broader team.

· Comfort operating in ambiguous, rapidly evolving areas and using experimentation and customer learning to guide decisions.

Listed below is the base salary range applicable to this position. Workday pay ranges (and the precise pay offered to the successful candidate) are based on a number of objective criteria such as relevant experience and skills, and educational qualifications, level of responsibility, demands of the role, work location and business need. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants awarded by Workday Inc.
