Industrial Mechanic (day shift Mon to Fri)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced millwright or mechanic to join a growing manufacturing operation.

The successful candidate will be able to maintain, repair, and help keep production equipment moving. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable with mechanically driven machines. The equipment is driven by pneumatics, hydraulics, and the position involves troubleshooting plant machinery commonly used in manufacturing including rollers, chains, belts, conveyors, and motors. In this role you will perform a wide range of minor to major repairs in a small team.

There is no red seal millwright requirement, candidates will be evaluated on their abilities to perform hands on repairs and maintenance. The shift is steady Monday to Friday with some flexibility to start anywhere between 5am and 7am, ending 1:30pm to 3:30pm depending on start time. Requirements

-Minimum 3 years of hands on millwright or mechanic experience.

-Positive attitude with even temperament and willingness to work and learn.

-Fluent in verbal and written English

-Legally entitled to work in Canada

-Physically fit for role
