This role plays a key part in ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate, properly handled, and delivered on time. Strong attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this position.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare and ship company products\nCompare materials being shipped to bills of lading and report discrepancies\nReceive incoming shipments and verify contents\nSort and organize materials in designated areas\nCreate shipping labels and documentation using computer software\nMaintain inventory for stock parts as needed\nInspect parts prior to shipment for quality and accuracy\nRead and interpret blueprints and dimensional drawings\nAccurately measure materials using a tape measure\nCreate bills of lading and schedule shipments\nCount and verify shipped items, noting shortages or damages\nBuild and cut wood skids for shipping\nShrink wrap and band pallets\nOperate equipment including forklifts, banding machines, and nail guns\nLoad and unload trucks\nMaintain a clean and organized work area\nAssist in other departments as needed\nQualifications\nHigh school student or equivalent\nPrior experience or vocational training is a plus, but not required\nAbility to follow directions and work safely in a warehouse environment\nPhysical Requirements & Skills\nAbility to lift up to 80 lbs\nAbility to stand for up to 8 hours per day\nFrequent bending, squatting, and lifting\nComfortable working around machinery and moving equipment\nStrong work ethic and attention to detail\nReliable attendance and punctuality\nBenefits\nAffordable health insurance\nFree dental coverage for employees\n12 paid holidays\nAdditional paid time off, including one week off in December\nConsistent full-time schedule \nWork Environment\nThis position is based in a warehouse setting with concrete floors.
