We’re searching for dependable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and take pride in producing safe, high-quality products. In this role, you’ll support our deboning process by operating a Jack machine to accurately portion and process poultry product. You’ll work closely with the production line, helping to ensure consistency, efficiency, and top-tier product standards. Typical work may involve handling raw poultry, monitoring equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. If you’re ready to learn new skills, stay focused, and support a strong team environment, we’d love to have you on board!\nPrincipal Essential Duties & Responsibilities\nWork at various stations along the production line processing poultry food products.\nOperate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures.\nInspect poultry products for quality and consistency.\nPackage and label finished products accurately and efficiently.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area to uphold food safety standards.\nCollaborate with team members to achieve production targets.\nPreferred Education and Experience\nHigh School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.\nPhysical Requirements and Environmental Factors\nWhen in a plant environment:\nAbility to tolerate exposure to wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.\nAbility to stand for an extended period and perform repetitive tasks.\nAbility to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs by reaching, bending, and pushing boxes.\nAbility to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required.\nMay work in an environment with varying temperatures between 28 degrees and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.\nMay handle products varying in temperatures between 25 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.\nMay be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.\nMay be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.\nOccasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.\nPerdue Farms Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
