The qualified candidate will be able to offer specific technical subject matter expertise to the sales function, supporting the business and functional aspects of Workiva's platform and solutions via technical and architecture presentations, product demonstrations, and communication of value-based messaging about the Workiva platform. Additionally, the job requires development of example solutions, prototypes and proofs of concept to demonstrate viability and value of Workiva solutions.\nWhat You’ll Do\nExecute pre-sales framework to engage customers, prospects, and partners via phone, web, or onsite meetings, drive the discovery process, and identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer/prospect needs\nEnsure customer success by working with Workiva Client Services team for smooth on-boarding and long term success\nDemonstrate knowledge across multiple domain areas developing working knowledge of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can have an impact\nAssist in developing new use-cases or by using existing templates providing proof of our solution's impact and value proposition\nConduct process assessments with customers, build Proof of Concepts to validate requirements, build and present customer specific business cases\nMay begin to deliver cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring peers\nWork with Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success to achieve team and company goals\nAssist Sales in developing account plans in support of Workiva strategies and objectives\nWhat You'll Need\nMinimum Qualifications\n4 years of experience in finance, accounting, internal audit, software development, technical sales, or a related field \nUndergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience engaging with and presenting to business or IT managers and executives\nExcellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills\nSelf-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement\nConsultant level in the Big Four or public accounting\nHands on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures preferred\nExperience with ERP, GRC, GL, FP&A, or Analytics & Reporting solutions\nAbility to present a value based, compelling software demonstrations\nTravel Requirements & Working Conditions\nWillingness to travel up to 30% for team and corporate meetings, fostering relationships and representing company interests \nReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, as we embrace flexible work arrangements\n\nWorkiva will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
