This role is integral to supporting the financial management of a portfolio of client-owned properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and a high standard of client service.\nWorking closely with senior accountants, property managers, and clients, you will contribute to maintaining high standards of financial control and delivering timely, accurate accounting information across a diverse property portfolio.\nWhat matters most in this role:\nThe role will require regular and direct communication with the accounts team, property managers, tenants and our clients to ensure the production of accurate and timely accounting records.\nThe role requires a high volume of processing of financial data as well as thorough reviews and reporting of this data to our clients.\nTo be successful in this role, you will require a high level of attention to detail, strong organisational, prioritisation and communication skills as well as good team working skills and a desire to learn and develop within your role.\nDay to day you’ll:\nPreparation of monthly and quarterly client reports, including VAT & IPD reporting\nCash management of client funds ensuring money is transferred in line with client requirements\nCarry out bank reconciliations and monitor account balances\nManagements of lease information\nRespond to and resolve client, tenant and internal finance queries\nPreparing and transferring the rental income to the client\nUpdating control spreadsheets\nAssist with budgeting activities when required, and look at variances if required to assist the Service Charge Accounting team\nEnsure adherence to regulatory and internal accounting standards\nManagement of central inboxes\nAny other duties that will ensure the smooth running of the accounting department\nWhat we expect of you:\nA proactive, practical, and positive approach to work is required.\nStudying ACCA, or AAT level 4 is preferred. \nExperience in a finance or client accounting role, ideally within property or real estate\nCompetency in Excel and accounting systems is essential.
