Using your initiative will be encouraged.\nThe role requires processing a high volume of bank receipts on behalf of our clients.\nThis role will involve supporting the Treasury Manager, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, and to internal and client KPIs to ensure a best in class service is delivered to all Workman clients.\nTo be successful in this role, you will require a high level of attention to detail, strong organisational, prioritisation and communication skills as well as good team working skills and a desire to learn and develop within your role.\nOther duties will include:\nUpdating control spreadsheets\nManagement of central email inboxes\nDownloading of multiple bank statements\nDaily posting of bank receipts\nTenant Account Reconciliations\nLiaising with property managers regarding the allocation of bank receipts\nTenant & client query resolution\nBanking duties; to include internal movements of cash as well as BACS/CHAPS, transfers\nAny other duties that will ensure the smooth running of the accounting department.\nWHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU\nA proactive, practical, and positive approach to work is required.\nExcellent and professional communication skills with the ability to build good working relationships with your colleagues, both within accounts and the wider business.\nNo accounting qualifications are required for this role, however the following are key skill requirements:\nMath's & English G.C.S.E 9-4/A-C\nGood Numeracy Skills\nIT & Software Skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel\nWHY Workman?\nHybrid working to offer you a great work life balance, with a minimum of three days in the office.\nCore working hours allow for added flexibility and helps benefit your work life balance.\nDiscretionary annual bonus and salary reviews.\nHealthcare, life insurance & wellness programme.\nLong service additional holidays, your birthday off and an extra day between Christmas and New Year\nLifestyle benefits to suit you: gym membership, cycle to work, buy and sell holiday to name just a few.\nSocial events throughout the year including a firm wide Christmas party!\nGenerous referral bonus.\nABOUT Workman LLP\nAs the UK’s leading independent commercial property management specialist, Workman has an enviable position within the property industry.\nWe are proud of our longstanding relationships with many of our clients, some of whom we have worked with for more than 25 years.
