The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise, strong operational discipline, and a passion for delivering secure and user-friendly collaboration solutions.\nThis role works directly within the technology every day, providing Tier 3 support, driving platform improvements, automating administrative processes, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to maximize the value of the Microsoft 365 platform.\nA Typical Day\nMicrosoft 365 Administration & Engineering\nServe as the primary escalation point for Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies.\nAdminister SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID platforms.\nManage configuration, governance, policies, platform health, and performance.\nTroubleshoot complex issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement new Microsoft 365 capabilities.\nSharePoint Online Administration\nAdminister SharePoint sites, permissions, policies, storage, and lifecycle governance.\nSupport content management, metadata, information architecture, and oversharing remediation.\nDrive migrations, modernization, platform enhancements, and scalable collaboration solutions.\nMicrosoft Teams Administration\nAdminister Teams policies, governance, collaboration settings, integrations, and lifecycle processes.\nManage guest access, external collaboration, federation, meetings, chat, and file sharing.\nTroubleshoot complex Teams collaboration, meeting, and integration issues.\nEntra ID Administration\nAdminister Microsoft 365 groups, security groups, dynamic groups, and collaboration identity services.\nSupport Conditional Access, authentication, SSO, group lifecycle, and access management.\nPartner with Security and Infrastructure teams on identity-related initiatives.\nAutomation & Continuous Improvement\nBuild PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation to streamline administration, reporting, and governance.\nCreate reusable operational solutions, monitoring capabilities, and process improvements.\nMaintain documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.\nTechnical Leadership\nProvide Microsoft 365 collaboration leadership and subject matter expertise.\nMentor support teams and contribute to architecture, design, and roadmap discussions.\nRecommend best practices that improve security, usability, governance, and efficiency.\nTo Land This Opportunity\nRequired Qualifications\nYou have a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or the equivalent real-world experience.\nYou have 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration and engineering experience.\nYou have 3+ years of SharePoint Online experience in a 2,500+ user enterprise environment.\nYou know your way around Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID, PowerShell automation, and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting.\nYou bring strong governance, access/lifecycle management, and communication skills to every collaboration challenge.\nPreferred Qualifications\nYou have Microsoft 365 certifications-or you’re actively working toward them.\nYou have experience with SAM, Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell, Power Automate, and Power Platform.\nYou’ve helped move SharePoint forward through migrations, modernization, Copilot readiness, or large-scale Microsoft 365 initiatives.\nYou have Microsoft Purview experience, which earns you bonus points.\nAbout Your Future Team\nOur team’s favorite pastimes include corny jokes, paintball, and Guardians of the Galaxy. The salary range for this role is $105,965.28 to $144,353.17 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
