The candidate should be capable of independently owning testing activities, identifying quality gaps, and working closely with development and product teams to ensure reliable product delivery.\n\nResponsibilities: \nDesign, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications.\nPerform manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, sanity, smoke, and exploratory testing.\nDevelop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.\nBuild and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright.\nPerform API testing and validation using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.\nValidate REST APIs, request/response payloads, status codes, error handling, and data integrity.\nPerform end-to-end testing of web applications.\nValidate database operations and application data using SQL queries.\nIdentify, document, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA.\nCollaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure product quality.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.\nIntegrate and execute automation test suites.\nAnalyze test results, identify recurring issues, and provide meaningful feedback to the development team.\nIdentify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.\n\nRequirements: \nB. E / B. Tech / MCA / MCS or equivalent qualification.\n4-5 years of relevant experience in QA/software testing.\nStrong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.\n4-5 years of experience in software quality assurance/software testing.\nStrong understanding of software testing concepts, STLC, and SDLC.\nHands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.\nGood programming/scripting knowledge in JavaScript.\nPractical experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Playwright.\nExperience in designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automation test scripts.\nStrong experience in API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.\nGood understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, status codes, and API validation.\nExperience in functional, regression, integration, sanity, smoke, and exploratory testing.\nBasic to intermediate SQL knowledge for database validation and data integrity checks.\nHands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA.\nUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nGood analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\nGood to Have: \nExposure to performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or similar.\nExperience in testing dashboards, analytics, and reporting modules.\nKnowledge of validating charts, graphs, aggregations, filters, and report exports (Excel, CSV, PDF).\nExperience in validating data consistency between backend databases, APIs, and UI dashboards.\nExposure to AI/ML application testing, particularly validating AI-generated responses and outputs.\nUnderstanding AI model testing concepts such as response accuracy, consistency, relevance, hallucination detection, and edge-case validation.\nExperience in testing AI-powered features,
