The role requires a strong hands-on technical leader with expertise in Java-based full-stack development, enterprise applications, microservices and Agile delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Lead and mentor a team of 4 - 8 software engineers and take ownership of high-quality, timely delivery.\n\n- Design and develop scalable, secure and highly available enterprise applications using Microservices architecture.\n\n- Provide hands-on technical guidance across Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, Groovy and Grails.\n\n- Collaborate with Product Owners to understand requirements, estimate work and translate business requirements into technical solutions.\n\n- Plan, prioritize and monitor team activities across sprints and product releases.\n\n- Conduct architecture/design reviews and code reviews.\n\n- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues.\n\n- Drive engineering best practices covering architecture, coding standards, code reviews, unit testing, documentation, security and performance.\n\n- Work closely with Architects, Product Owners, Project Managers, QA/Test Managers, Database teams and other stakeholders.\n\n- Contribute to technical PoCs and evaluate new technologies for product improvement.\n\n- Work with technologies such as Kafka, Redis, Hazelcast, MySQL and Oracle.\n\n- Manage development and deployment tools including AWS, Git, Jenkins and Nginx.\n\n- Use Jira and Confluence for Agile planning, tracking and documentation.\n\n- Promote effective use of AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, Claude Code or equivalent tools.\n\n- Ensure appropriate review and governance of AI-generated code with focus on security, maintainability, licensing, data privacy and engineering standards.\n\n- Mentor team members, conduct performance reviews and support their technical and career development.\n\n- Identify opportunities to improve people, processes, technology, quality and delivery.\n\nMandatory Technical Skills :\n\n- Java\n\n- Spring Framework\n\n- Spring Boot\n\n- Hibernate\n\n- Angular\n\n- Groovy / Grails\n\n- Microservices\n\n- Kafka\n\n- Redis\n\n- Hazelcast\n\n- MySQL\n\n- Oracle\n\n- AWS\n\n- Git\n\n- Jenkins\n\n- Nginx\n\n- Jira\n\n- Confluence\n\n- Agile/Scrum\n\n- AI-assisted development tools\n\nRequired Qualifications & Experience :\n\n- B.E./B.Tech./MCA from a recognized institute with a good academic record.\n\n- 6+ years of full-stack development experience with Java-based technologies.\n\n- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Java and Angular.\n\n- Strong experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Hibernate.\n\n- Strong experience developing enterprise-grade web applications with focus on scalability, performance, security and availability.\n\n- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle. \n\n- Minimum 4 years of experience working with AWS/cloud technologies.\n\n- Experience handling a team of 4 - 8 engineers.\n\n- Strong problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills.\n\n- Hands-on experience in resolving complex technical challenges.\n\n- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\n\n- Practical exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, Claude Code or equivalent is highly desirable.\n\n- Good understanding of responsible AI-assisted software development, including coding, refactoring, testing, code review and documentation.\n\n- Strong communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.\n\nGood to Have :\n\n- Experience as a Technical Lead / Engineering Lead.\n\n- Product Owner experience or strong collaboration with Product Owners.\n\n- Experience in Life Sciences / Pharma domain.\n\n- Experience in FinTech or product-based technology companies.\n\n- Experience with Bootstrap and jQuery.\n\n- Experience working with globally distributed teams.\n\nCandidate Profile :\n\nWe are looking for a self-driven technical leader who can remain hands-on while managing a team, drive engineering excellence and take complete ownership of technical delivery.\n\nCandidates who can join within 60 days will be preferred.\n\nCandidates must be comfortable working from office 5 days a week in Noida Sector 125.\n\nRelocation candidates from North India may be considered.
