This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who combines deep technical expertise with strong architectural judgment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead through influence.\nThis is a full-time, hybrid position requiring 1 day per week in the office to support close cross-functional collaboration.\nDay in the Life:\nLead complex engineering initiatives, coordinating work across engineers and AI coding agents to ensure high-quality, predictable delivery.\nOwn squad architecture and technical direction, designing scalable solutions and reusable components.\nDrive engineering excellence through design reviews, code quality, system reliability, and continuous improvement.\nDesign and improve AI-augmented engineering workflows, including code generation, testing, and documentation.\nPartner with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.\nMentor engineers, resolve complex technical challenges, and influence engineering practices across teams.\nWho You Are:\n10+ years of experience building, architecting, and scaling production software systems.\nDeep expertise in at least one programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, Ruby, PHP, C#, etc.), with the ability to adapt across different technology stacks.\nStrong computer science fundamentals, excellent problem-solving skills, and sound architectural judgment.\nProven ability to lead complex engineering initiatives, coordinate work across engineers, and drive predictable delivery.\nExperience designing scalable, reusable solutions and making sound technical trade-offs between short-term needs and long-term value.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools and AI-augmented engineering workflows.\nStrong technical leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor engineers and influence cross-functional stakeholders.\nExperience owning production systems, overseeing deployments, and driving system reliability and continuous improvement.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with Ruby on Rails or Node.js.
