The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure, optimizing deployment workflows, ensuring system reliability, and driving cost efficiency across our cloud environments. You will work closely with development teams to support microservices-based architectures and implement best practices for scalability, performance, and security.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Route53, CloudWatch, etc.).\n Manage and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, including deployment strategies, scaling, and resource management.\nBuild and maintain Docker images and container orchestration workflows for application environments.\n Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.) to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.\nCollaborate with software engineers to design, deploy, and maintain microservices-based systems.\nMonitor system health, performance, and availability using modern observability tools and dashboards.\nImplement and manage DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, and load balancers for secure and efficient routing.\nPerform database management tasks (backup, restore, performance tuning, scaling, and cost optimization).\nLead initiatives for infrastructure improvements, automation, and cost savings across cloud environments.\nContribute to infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.\nEnsure security, compliance, and reliability in production systems through proactive monitoring and best practices.\nParticipate in on-call rotation and incident response when necessary.\nRequired Skills & Experience \n3-5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure role.\nHands-on experience with AWS Cloud services (especially EKS, EC2, SQS, RDS, and VPC).\nStrong expertise with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker in production environments.\nProven experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.\nProficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.\nExperience managing databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) in the cloud.\nFamiliarity with DNS management, SSL/TLS certificates, and reverse proxies/load balancers (e.g., Nginx, ALB).\nUnderstanding of microservices architecture and distributed system design.\nExperience with infrastructure automation and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).\nStrong focus on monitoring, logging, and performance optimization (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\nBonus Skills \nExperience with deploying and maintaining PHP/Laravel applications\nExperience with cost monitoring tools (AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, etc.).\nKnowledge of security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001, etc.).\nExposure to GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD.\nFamiliarity with serverless and event-driven architectures.\nPrior experience working in Agile or DevSecOps environments.\nWorkwize offers \nFlexible hybrid work environment.\nTop-notch tools and equipment provided.\nVibrant, entrepreneurial culture with opportunities for growth.\nOff-sites and multi-yearly team bonding events.\nTeam lunches and surprise events to keep things fun.\nPension scheme.\nThe chance to shape how AI is used across an entire product, not just bolt it onto a feature.\nClasspass corporate membership.\nOur Team \nBecoming part of Workwize means making an impact.
