Stronger together, we promote an environment where individuals can thrive.\nPosition Summary:\nWe are looking for highly motivated university students in Costa Rica who are passionate about Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and process optimization to join our AI Finance Internship Program.\nThis internship provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with global Finance teams on strategic initiatives focused on improving business processes through AI-driven solutions. The selected interns will help identify opportunities to automate, analyze, and optimize financial processes using data, emerging technologies, and artificial intelligence tools.\nWorking alongside experienced professionals, interns will gain hands-on experience supporting real business challenges while developing technical and professional skills in a global corporate environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with global Finance teams to understand current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.\nAnalyze large volumes of financial and operational data to generate meaningful insights.\nResearch, evaluate, and leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and decision-making.\nSupport the design, testing, and implementation of AI-enabled solutions that streamline financial processes.\nAssist in data preparation, validation, visualization, and reporting activities.\nParticipate in cross-functional projects involving Finance, Technology, and Business stakeholders.\nDocument findings, recommendations, and best practices.\nPresent project outcomes and improvement opportunities to internal stakeholders.\nJob Requirements:\nActive university student enrolled in an accredited university in Costa Rica.\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following (or related fields): Computer Science, Software Engineering, , Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, and Industrial Engineering (with strong analytics focus)\nIntermediate to Advanced English\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nInterest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, or Process Automation.\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, multicultural, and global environment.\nAvailability to work remotely.\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nExperience:\nKnowledge of AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure AI, Power BI AI capabilities, or similar technologies.\nExperience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other data analytics tools.\nFamiliarity with automation tools such as Power Automate or similar platforms.\nUnderstanding of data visualization and data storytelling.\nExperience working with large datasets.\nSpecific Skills & Knowledge Required:\nHands-on experience applying Artificial Intelligence to solve real business challenges.\nExposure to global Finance operations and cross-functional collaboration.\nMentorship from experienced Finance and Technology professionals.\nOpportunity to work on high-impact projects that influence business transformation.\nProfessional development in AI, analytics, automation, and process improvement.\nExperience in a multinational and innovation-driven environment.\nPlease note that by submitting an employment application you consent to World Fuel Services processing your information for this role and potentially for future employment opportunities, in accordance with applicable laws.
