Category Manager, Indirect Procurement to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across key indirect spend categories, with a particular focus on HR, Payroll, and Travel.\nThis is an outstanding organization.\nThe Opportunity\nAs Category Manager, you'll own category strategies, supplier relationships, sourcing initiatives, and contract negotiations across a variety of indirect procurement categories.\nYou will partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, Information Security, Travel, and business leaders to ensure procurement delivers world-class value, service, compliance, and innovation.\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking, commercial negotiation, stakeholder management, and strategic planning.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop Category & Sourcing Strategies\nLead the development and execution of category strategies across HR, Payroll, Travel, and related indirect spend areas.\nIdentify opportunities to optimize costs, improve supplier performance, and increase operational efficiency.\nDevelop long-term sourcing roadmaps aligned with business priorities.\nLead Strategic Procurement Projects\nManage end-to-end sourcing activities including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.\nEvaluate suppliers, commercial proposals, and sourcing options.\nLead contract negotiations and supplier selection processes.\nDeliver sourcing projects that generate measurable business value.\nBuild Strong Stakeholder Partnerships\nPartner with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and procurement priorities.\nSupport contract reviews, negotiations, and supplier governance activities.\nAct as a trusted advisor on procurement strategy and market trends.\nInfluence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and commercial expertise.\nManage Supplier Relationships\nDevelop strong relationships with strategic suppliers and partners.\nEstablish KPIs and performance measures.\nConduct supplier reviews and identify continuous improvement opportunities.\nManage contract renewals, amendments, and supplier risk considerations.\nDeliver Commercial Insights\nConduct market intelligence and supplier benchmarking.\nBuild cost models and perform spend analysis.\nPrepare reports, recommendations, and presentations for stakeholders.\nIdentify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.\nDrive Process Improvement & Innovation\nImprove procurement processes, controls, and governance.\nLeverage automation, analytics, and digital tools to improve procurement performance.\nSupport Oracle Fusion and procure-to-pay processes.\nContribute to internal controls, audit activities, and SOX compliance requirements.\nSupport & Develop Others\nCoach and mentor procurement team members.\nShare best practices and category expertise.\nHelp build a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential Experience\n8+ years of indirect procurement experience.\nStrong sourcing and category management experience.\nExperience managing HR, Payroll, Travel, or related indirect categories.\nProven track record delivering cost savings and commercial value.\nExperience leading complex supplier negotiations and contract discussions.\nExperience partnering with senior business stakeholders.\nStrong understanding of procurement governance and supplier management.\nPreferred Experience\nGlobal procurement experience.\nExperience working within large, multinational organizations.\nOracle Fusion or ERP system experience.\nExperience supporting procurement controls and audit requirements.\nExposure to procurement transformation, automation, or digital initiatives.\nSkills That Will Help You
