This role is ideal for a cybersecurity professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys a blend of threat detection, incident response, security engineering, vulnerability management, and automation.\nAs a senior member of the CyberOps team, you will help protect World Fuel's global technology environment by monitoring security events, investigating threats, leading remediation efforts, and continuously improving our security capabilities. You will work with modern security technologies across cloud, endpoint, network, and data protection platforms while collaborating with teams across multiple regions.\nThis position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the organization's security posture while helping drive the maturity of a global cybersecurity program.\nWhat You'll Do\nMonitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity alerts and incidents across enterprise systems, networks, cloud environments, and security platforms.\nPerform threat hunting, digital forensic investigations, root cause analysis, and incident response activities.\nAnalyze security events, logs, endpoint activity, and network traffic to identify suspicious or malicious activity.\nLead and support the implementation, optimization, and operationalization of cybersecurity tools and initiatives aligned with industry frameworks including NIST and PCI.\nManage and support vulnerability management activities, partnering with infrastructure and application teams to reduce risk and drive remediation efforts.\nEnhance and tune security monitoring capabilities, ensuring security tools, event logs, and data sources provide effective threat detection coverage.\nDevelop and optimize detection rules, correlation logic, dashboards, automation workflows, and security playbooks.\nMonitor threat intelligence sources, security advisories, and emerging cyber threats to proactively strengthen defenses.\nLead security projects involving tool deployment, platform enhancements, security automation, and vulnerability remediation initiatives.\nConduct packet analysis, log analysis, and forensic investigations while coordinating with third party partners when required.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, procedures, runbooks, and incident response playbooks.\nProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members and assist during complex investigations.\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline with a focus on security.\n4+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Threat Detection, or similar cybersecurity role.\nHands on experience investigating and responding to security incidents in enterprise environments.\nExperience working with security technologies such as:SIEM platforms\nEndpoint Detection and Response (EDR)\nVulnerability Management solutions\nData Loss Prevention (DLP)\nEmail Security platforms\nIntrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)\n\nExperience with scripting, APIs, security automation, SOAR platforms, or orchestration tools.\nKnowledge of cloud security concepts and technologies, preferably within AWS and Azure environments.\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP networking, packet analysis, log analysis, operating systems, and security monitoring concepts.\nExperience creating technical documentation, process workflows, and operational procedures.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem solving skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nProfessional certifications such as:CISSP\nCISM\nCEH\nGIAC certifications\nAWS Security or Solutions Architect certifications\nMicrosoft Azure Security certifications\n\nFamiliarity with security frameworks and compliance standards including:NIST\nPCI DSS\nSOC 1 / SOC 2\nISO 27001 / ISO 27002\nHIPAA\n\nWhy Join World Fuel?\nBe part of a global cybersecurity team protecting a large, complex enterprise environment.\nGain exposure to cutting edge security technologies, cloud platforms, automation, threat intelligence, and incident response.\nLead impactful security initiatives and contribute to the evolution of a mature cybersecurity program.\nCollaborate with experienced cybersecurity professionals across multiple regions and business lines.\nGrow your career in an organization that values innovation, continuous learning, and professional development.\nPlease note that by submitting an employment application you consent to World Fuel Services processing your information for this role and potentially for future employment opportunities, in accordance with applicable laws.
