We are seeking a Specialist, Commercial Operations to join our Petro Air team in Puerto Rico and play a key role in supporting commercial operations and fuel supply activities across Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working across multiple business functions, managing critical operational processes, and contributing to a fast-paced commercial environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nReporting to the Senior Manager, Supply, you will work closely with commercial, supply, finance, and operational teams to help ensure the efficient execution of day-to-day business activities.\nKey responsibilities include:\nCoordinate weekly fuel supply nominations with suppliers to support business requirements.\nMonitor supply availability and collaborate with stakeholders to help optimize supply against forecasted demand.\nManage the creation, maintenance, and renewal of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs).\nPrepare and analyze operational and commercial reports, providing ad hoc reporting support as needed.\nProcess and track invoices, purchase orders, payment requests, and related documentation.\nSupport daily commercial and administrative activities to ensure smooth business operations.\nMaintain accurate physical and electronic records while safeguarding confidential information.\nPrepare, update, and distribute reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other business documents.\nCoordinate regulatory submissions, applications, filings, and supporting documentation with government agencies and regulatory authorities.\nMonitor license, permit, certification, and registration expiration dates and coordinate timely renewals.\nAssist with documentation requests and audit preparation activities for both internal and external audits.\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance operational effectiveness.\nSupport special projects and other initiatives as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in commercial operations, supply chain, business operations, logistics, administration, or a related field.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and levels of the organization.\nSelf-starter with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.\nWhy Join World Fuel?\nAt World Fuel, you'll be part of a global organization that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
