As a Trip Support Specialist II, you will be the operational quarterback behind international business aviation missions, coordinating every detail needed to ensure flights operate safely, efficiently, and seamlessly across the globe.\nThis role is ideal for aviation professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving operational challenges, and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.\nWhat You'll Do\nManage Global Flight Operations\nServe as the primary point of contact for assigned flight departments and operators, supporting missions from planning through completion.\nCoordinate and arrange:\nInternational overflight and landing permits\nAirport slots and PPRs\nGround handling services\nCrew accommodations\nGround transportation\nCustoms and immigration requirements\nBorder overflight exemptions and CANPASS submissions\nFlight following and trip monitoring\nDeliver Exceptional Customer Support\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers.\nAct as a trusted advisor for trip planning and operational support.\nProvide proactive communication and timely updates throughout all phases of a mission.\nResolve customer issues quickly and professionally while maintaining a high level of service.\nTrip Planning & Quality Control\nManage and monitor assigned trips to ensure accuracy and operational readiness.\nCreate and maintain trip records and cost estimates.\nPerform quality assurance reviews of all trip arrangements.\nEnsure trips remain updated based on evolving client requirements.\nSupport Mission-Critical Operations\nParticipate in the operations communication rotation, managing incoming calls, emails, and operational messages.\nAssist with after-hours fuel requests and operational support as needed.\nCollaborate with flight planning, weather, permits, fuel, and support services teams to ensure successful mission execution.\nSupport 24/7 operational coverage through rotating shifts.\nContribute to Operational Excellence\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer service.\nShare industry knowledge and best practices with colleagues.\nAct as a team player, assisting other operational departments when required.\nSupport business growth by promoting World Fuel's Trip Support products and services.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\n2+ years of experience in aviation operations, trip support, dispatch, scheduling, flight planning, or related aviation environments\nExceptional customer service and relationship management skills\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities\nAbility to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nAbility and willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Aviation, Business, or a related field\nExperience supporting international flight operations\nPrior experience in business aviation, trip support, dispatch, or flight operations\nKnowledge of aviation regulations, permits, ground handling, and international operating requirements\nFAA Dispatcher Certificate or similar aviation qualifications are a plus\nWhat Makes You Successful\nCustomer-focused and service-driven\nOrganized and detail-oriented\nCalm under pressure\nComfortable managing multiple missions simultaneously\nConfident communicating with pilots, flight departments, vendors, and internal teams\nPassionate about aviation and operational excellence\nWhy Join World Fuel?\nSupport global business aviation missions every day\nWork alongside experienced aviation professionals\nGain exposure to international flight operations and trip planning\nJoin a collaborative team that values customer service and operational excellence\nBuild a long-term career with a global leader in aviation and energy solutions\nReady to help customers navigate the world?\nApply today and become part of a team that keeps global aviation moving.\nPlease note that by submitting an employment application you consent to World Fuel Services processing your information for this role and potentially for future employment opportunities, in accordance with applicable laws.
