This role is responsible for creating engaging, customer-focused digital experiences across the World Market e-commerce site, including the Home Page, Category and Seasonal Gateway pages, Inspiration section pages, and promotional assets.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong creative thinking and hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Page Designer, with an understanding of how to design within platform capabilities and technical constraints.\nWorking closely with the Art Director, UX, e-commerce, marketing, content, and development teams, this individual will translate creative direction and business objectives into compelling, responsive digital experiences from initial concept through production.\nWe're looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership of multiple projects in a fast-paced retail environment.\nPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities:\nDesign and execute compelling digital experiences across the World Market e-commerce site, including the Home Page, Category and Seasonal Gateway pages, Inspiration section pages, and promotional assets.\nTranslate creative direction, brand guidelines, UX requirements, and business objectives into engaging, customer-focused digital designs.\nDesign within Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Page Designer, leveraging existing components and templates while understanding platform capabilities and technical constraints.\nCreate high-quality Figma comps, mobile-first responsive layouts, and production-ready assets, including image crops, specifications, and developer handoffs.\nCollaborate with UX and development teams to ensure designs are intuitive, functional, and optimized for implementation across devices.\nPartner with the Art Director to maintain and evolve World Market's digital visual identity, ensuring consistency in typography, imagery, layout, and visual hierarchy.\nCollaborate with e-commerce, marketing, and content teams to support seasonal campaigns, promotional initiatives, and business objectives.\nApply strong UI design principles and e-commerce best practices to enhance the customer experience and support engagement and conversion.\nManage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high creative standards, accuracy, and attention to detail, using established workflows and project management tools such as Asana.\nStay current on digital design, e-commerce, and UI/UX trends, bringing fresh ideas and creative solutions to the team.\nRemote Work Location:\nThis is a fully remote position, with responsibilities that require strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a virtual work environment. Candidates must be based in the Pacific Time Zone.\nExperience & Skills You'll Bring\n4+ years of professional digital design experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or a consumer-focused brand.\nStrong portfolio demonstrating exceptional digital design, visual storytelling, and UI design skills.\nHands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Page Designer, including a strong understanding of platform capabilities, components, and limitations.\nExpert proficiency in Figma, with strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.\nStrong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive and mobile-first design, typography, visual hierarchy, and component-based design.\nExperience collaborating with UX and development teams, including preparing production-ready comps, specifications, assets, and developer handoffs.\nWorking knowledge of HTML and an understanding of how digital designs translate into responsive web experiences.\nExperience designing for e-commerce with an understanding of how creative supports customer engagement, usability, and conversion.\nStrong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.\nExperience with Asana or similar project management platforms.\nBachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred.\nCA Pay Range is $115,000 - $130,000 annually\n#LI-LO1\nIf you need reasonable accommodations to complete the on-line application, please contact the Human Resource Department:\nPhone: 1-833-680-2399\nEmail: \nThis email address is only to request reasonable accommodation for the application process due to a medical condition.
